With tiled floors throughout, the living area has a full-size sleeper sofa, flat screen TV and DVD player. The compact kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, stove with oven, and microwave. A long hallway separates the living area from the bedroom with a second TV and king bed 80" long (twin beds). The bedroom has views of mountains and city. The bathroom has new vanity with granite counters and the recently remodeled large shower has a safety bar and a hand-held shower wand (no tub). Included with your rental are free local calls and WiFi. We'll be back! A guest from Qualicum Beach, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 37 days in February, 2013 The only change we'd make is the furniture arrangement. As there is very little counter space in the kitchen I moved the table to act as an island and moved the sofa so that we could watch TV. The king-sized bed is comfortable and the bathroom vanity is new. This condo is outfitted with everything you'll need including beach towels and lawn chairs. The location is on Kuhio with easy access to the bus and about midway between the beach and the canal. We very definitely would stay here again. |

The agent we dealt with from the beginning was great (Barbara). It is an older condo but the condition is immaculate. The pull out couch was a little uncomfortable. The building was well maintained and the staff tried to be helpful if you asked questions. You could look out the window and see the surfers. The walk to the beach was 5 minutes. Convenient to nearby stores but very expensive for groceries. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and we would go back. |

The security staff are very friendly and it's good to see Ed there still.Annella has been involved with all our stays and it was nice to see her again. The view is excellent and you can check the clouds over the mountains and ocean without having to wait for a weather report. Good laundry facilities. Bus stop close by and some good restaurants that don't break your budget. |

Central Location Within Walking Distance to all the great spots on the beach Tan L. from Houston, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2011 Property was located at a great location to the beach. Pretty great views from the balcony and the walkway on the 18th floor. The room was adequate for the stay, it's located right in front once you get off the elevators. Lots of kitchen appliances to whip up almost anything you want to. Be aware only stove top, no oven. Microwave we used worked but did not spin correctly and made a funny noise. Thermostat reader seemed broken since it always read the temprature at 80 degrees. The shower needs a complete overhaul, tiles in the shower were a bit dingy. Showerhead definitely needs replacing. Bed and couch were comfortable. Stayed for 7 days in October, 2010 I would stay here again if it was just two people. The hide-a-bed needed a new mattress. I had to sleep on it made up as a love seat. A little too short for me and I am only 5'2". The unit could use some updating (lighting and cabinets) but it was clean and well equiped. I did not realize we would need to buy our own toliet paper so that was a little bit of a surprise. Barbara (property manager) was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend her and this property to others. Property Manager Response: Response from Captain Cook and Associates We will look into the problem with the mattress, owners will be here for one month. As advertised we have starter supplies, but must be kept up by the guests after they have gone through all supplies. |

It was very well-equipped with the essentials (ie kitchen pantry staples, basic toiletry items, & even some beach items). The lay-out is very functional & it makes good use of its square footage. As far as size goes, it was a bit bigger than many units in this building (since it was a corner unit) but we felt it was just barely big enough for 3 people. We didn't like the fact that it doesn't have a dishwasher, and that the master bedroom has a rather short bed (my husband who's 5'11' had to sleep diagonally). The location was very convenient but on a noisy street (which the balcony faces). The view from the balcony however is very nice. |
