For a special outdoor Canadian experience, enjoy this true gem located in the heart of the Rideau Lakes Area. Set on the Historic Rideau Canal, now recognized as a World Heritage Site. This cottage is perched on a high, prime piece of the Canadian Shield. It's wonderful western exposure provides spectacular sunset views over Indian Lake.
The cotage, (1940's, has two comfortable bedrooms, a four piece bath, well-equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, and French doors that lead to a screened-in porch. Almost all rooms have well placed windows with views of granite, forest and lake. Linens are provided and beds are made for your comfort.
Down the bank are stairs leading to a 14' x 7' deck, raised 8' over the edge of the water where you can relax and enjoy the lake and then another step that takes you to a dock for swimming and boat docking. The swimming is very good deep water with a shore of granite.
Fishing guides or power boats, can be rented at the local village in Chaffey's Lock.
