A simple, cozy, two-bedroom cottage is available for rental in The Heritage Gardens at Cold Spring , and the grounds provide the perfect setting for wandering, meditation, retreats, writing, cultural events, weddings, picnics, and fun! Heritage Gardens at Cold Spring is located in the foothills of the Blue Mountains below Catherine’s Peak, approximately 3,000 feet above sea level.A visit to Heritage Gardens will take you back to coffee works of the 18th century, as well as remind you of the wonderfully diverse and beautiful offerings of the small island of Jamaica. The Gardens today contain remnants of the coffee works of the 18th century Cold Spring Estate: well-preserved large barbecues (flat drying areas), floating ponds, water channels, and remnants of the pulping house - all reminiscent of large volumes of Blue Mountain coffee once pulped and dried on these grounds. The Gardens are being restored to reflect the beauty reported in the historical accounts of the time.
