Villa Balinese combines the finest in Caribbean style with exquisite Balinese interior themes. The ultimate in luxury, this new villa is located in the Turtle Tail area of Provo, with spectacular ocean vistas overlooking the Turks & Caicos Banks. Furnished with a mixture of imported Balinese hand-made contemporary and antique ornamentals & artwork, the villa is replete with innovation, functionality & aesthetics.
Cascading waterfalls flanked by coconut palms mark the entry to Villa Balinese. The stunning centerpiece of the living and terraced pool area is the 90' x 15', three-angled, oversized infinity pool. Constructed in emerald green stone, the pool spans the breadth of the house and is embraced by its 2 angled bedroom wings, forming a hexagon. An arched bridge spans the pool at one end. Cascading over the main pool is a rectangular 8' x 5' infinity-edge heated Jacuzzi pool. Both pools create a dramatic visual connection with the ocean below.
A limestone walkway leads from Villa Balinese to the ocean, via a coconut- & "alang alang"-thatched gazebo furnished with meditative Asian pieces & roll-down straw blinds - a perfect spot for daily massages, or contemplating the soothing Caribbean. The path continues down to the ocean, accessed by several steps, for a delightful, refreshing swim.
This exquisite villa has a spacious Great Room in bold design, with travertine marble flooring, 30' vaulted cedar-beamed ceilings, and walls of intricately patterned Asian pearl-stone tiles. Stunning ocean views fill the Great Room. There's also an adjoining granite bar (with icemaker, fridge & 2 wine coolers), 50" plasma TV, music center (recessed into cabinetry and raised by hydraulic control for viewing), and 25'-high wall-to-wall glass doors that open onto the outdoor pool terrace.
Balinese's kitchen is a gourmet chef's delight with stainless-steel Viking appliances, 6-burner gas stove, custom wood cabinetry, black granite countertops, & a center-island counter with stools for informal dining. A formal dining area, furnished with Indonesian teak, comfortably provides seating for 6 people.
The master bedroom wing comprises an oceanview suite (with 90-degree glass doors) from which you can step directly into the pool. Merged with the suite is a raised bathtub featuring waterfall showerhead and separate shower alcove. Double vanity, vessel copper sinks, separate WC, walk-in closet (lined with coconut wood walls), and custom mahogany shelving complete the arrangement. This suite has its own private courtyard terrace with carved Indonesian daybed to further indulge in the sensual surroundings.
The opposite wing houses 2 ensuite oceanview bedrooms, each with wall-to-wall glass doors giving direct access to the pool (one of the bedrooms also has steps leading into the pool) and private balconies furnished with handcrafted Balinese daybeds.
