Ocean Sun Chalet - Home Rental Listing Details

Located just 50 minutes from downtown Halifax, Ocean Sun Chalet offers quiet ocean side getaways in the community of Head Of Jeddore. From the beautiful new hardwood floors, natural setting, the interior offers wonderful character that comes with century old homes. With new renovations completed in 2006, an open concept in the kitchen and living room offers that greater spacious feel providing more natural lighting. A new master bedroom and bath addition was also added on the first level with two new bedrooms on the second floor.

Across the road is 50 feet of access to the shoreline of Jeddore Harbour. This provides a great place for bonfires, recreational kayaking or canoeing while exploring the waters' edge and the variety of wildlife that visit in and around the harbour. Less then a 5 minute walk to a white sand beach, known for its abundance of mussels and clams!

This oasis by the sea lets you step back into a slower pace of life, while just ten minutes along the pristine Eastern Shore to all the amenities in the quaint town of Musquodoboit Harbour, and only 50 minutes to metro Halifax.

Environment:
We try not to disturb our natural habitat, therefore we do not use herbicides or pesticides.
No smoking or pets are permitted.
Our water is fresh from our own well with no chemical additions!
Heating is by oil furnace forced air, wood fireplace and electric baseboard.
All floors in the house are hardwood or ceramic. No carpet.
Several bedrooms have air conditioners, and all windows open to allow the fresh breeze to enter!
 
Reservations:
It should be noted that all bookings or reservations for the cottage are 'guaranteed' with a credit card and that a 25% deposit is required to hold all bookings.
If you need to cancel your reservation we will refund your deposit (less a 10% handling charge), provided we are able to rent the property for the period reserved

All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars. A $250 deposit is due on booking your reservations, with the balance payable as per the Rental Agreement.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 10:00 a.m. - unless otherwise agreed.

Rental Agreement
A cleaning crew will arrive to launder linens, remake beds, restock soap and paper supplies, vacuum and dust, clean the kitchen and baths, and prepare the house for the next guests.
The additional cost of any missing linens or other property including accidental damage to the home will be deducted from your security deposit and/or charged to the credit card on file. Any balance will be returned within 14 days of your departure.
