good location A guest from kahului, Hawaii does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 5 days in November, 2014 Mold in room. Nice lobby, room not so much. WiFi out. Called 4 help. Rude and unwilling. No help. Hotel and staff awsome. But this private room and team was not. Next time I'll go directly with the hotel not hawaiian vacation retreats.
Good for visitors with crowded schedule A guest from Tsukuba, Ibaraki recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in August, 2014 It is not a complete service and excellenct facilities but it is adequate for a stay in Waikiki area. Reasonable price and a convenient place, which is good enough for me.
Last second booking for the Palms 219 Reviewed by: Eric M. recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in August, 2014 We were scrambling to find a place to stay after Hurricane Iselle crash landed onto the Big Island and found this place available. We worked with an amazing guy who went well out of his way on his day off to get us into this room and help out due to our last second travel changes to stay in Honolulu. The place is in a great location, we were able to find free street parking really easily every time and never had to pay for parking. Your close to the shops and hotels of the Hilton Hawaiian Village and it's a nice 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Plus you have some great restaurants across the street and this place has easy access to the freeways to make your day trips across the island. The room was great too and the balcony was used often to enjoy the island breezes. There was a lot of nice extras we didn't expect such as a microwave and plates. The fridge came in handy too. Overall excellent experience and really helped saved the last 5 days of our stay in Hawaii!
Unpleasant Room A guest from Fremont, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 6 days in April, 2014 Wouldn't stay here again! The bed sheets smelled like sweat, as if they haven't been washed. There was hair and left over soap in the tub. Also, the table tops were dusty.

Stayed for 5 days in January, 2014 The location is great! The unit was satisfactory, but not extraordinary! It would have been nice if there were beach chairs and towels to check out.
OK room for the price A guest from Washington, DC does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in January, 2014 I originally booked into one of the other locations run by this agency, but because of a mix-up in their organization, I was shuttled into the Palms. The room was not as nice as those in the Island Colony and lacked adequate kitchen facilities and wasn't really well-maintained; little in the way of what one normally expects in a condo rental kitchen, including a sink or waste basket. Indeed, there wasn't a waste basket in the whole place! The room was adequate, but not in great shape (the floor in the bathroom was dirty). We didn't have a bad experience, but the management needs to pay a little more attention to basic details here.

Glorified hotel room Valeri L. from Salinas, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 8 days in June, 2013 If you are looking for a basic hotel room then this is for you..the "kitchen" is a hot plate, microwave and toaster oven! No sink except the bathroom sink. Place was not very clean- rug filthy. Closet space is shared with vacuum and other cleaning stuff and smelled. The space did the job as I wasn't there to stay inside but was not comfortable. The sofa bed was horrible..had to sleep on it as a if you need it for more than 1 person...expect a sleepless on greeted us there...was told by management company key was left on door...all in all a minimal experience however it is in a perfect location but really not worth the cost.

Little room on Waikiki Jennifer B. from Rigby, ID recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in April, 2013 The saying is true, you get what you pay for! The price was wonderful on this rental but there was basic maintenance that was lacking for a Hawaiian location. The shower curtain was moldy at the bottom and the ventilation fan in the bathroom was overly clogged and not working. Basic amenities were provided by condo owner, overall was and ok place to stay.
Never Again! A guest from APO, AP does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 15 days in December, 2012 Desk drawer was held by chair to keep it closed, otherwise it would just slide open.Carpet was dirty. Smelled like feet.Worst of all, no $200 "refundable" security deposit returned or credited back! Never again!
Money Talks Reviewed by: A guest does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 8 days in October, 2012 Would recommend with reservations. I already knew what to expect as far as the room goes because I have stayed at the hotel before. However, most of the problems came from the room being a "condo" rental instead of a hotel room.I try to never rent a room without free interent, and I expect the internet speed to be somewhat up to date because I need to log into my office on the mainland. The internet connection in the room was extremely slow causing a lot of frustration. If I wanted to use the dishes, I would have had to wash them in the bathroom sink, NOT an option for me, or figure out how to get them clean in the bathtub. Not an option either. No utensils with which to cook or eat. Fortunately I brought my fork, knife and spoon in case of emergency, so I could eat my micro wave meal without making a phone call and hoping that a knife and and fork would be delivered the next day.My reservation was for eight nights. One washcloth will not do the job. Missed one or two delivery attempts for another washcloth,(did not know about one and had to reschedule the second one). Went by the office to pick up wash cloths and was given a "kitchen packet." Was told there was a wash cloth in the packet. So I just used a hand towel. I put up with all of this because money talks. The price could not be beat.Thanks.
A Cheap Place to Sleep Reviewed by: Chris B. does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 6 days in August, 2012 Given the price of this unit and its location on Waikiki, its not a bad deal. When we got to the room there were fresh linens, but that looked to be about the extent of the cleaning done prior to our arrival. The carpet is disgustingly filthy, to the point where you may not want to walk around barefoot, and there looks to be some black mold growing in the corner of the bedroom ceiling just over the bed. The pillows were quite flat, and there are only 2 provided. If you just need a cheap place in Waikiki, this isn't too bad. If you want something nice though, go pay for an actual hotel room (then you'll also get clean towels and linens during your stay!)As an additional plus, the owners of the unit have a parking spot in the building. You may or may not get lucky and get to park in the spot without paying the $20/night to the Aqua Palms.

Stayed for 9 days in March, 2012 Very nice staff and very helpful. Room wasnt as nice as pictured online. I guess because it was really cheap, so you get what you pay for. Very nice location though. They said the hotel provided wifi so we were banking on it but we obly had internet the first day and it was really really slow then the rest of our stay (7 days) internet was non existent. We had to rely on our smart phones and we really needed internet that time.
