Escape the tour guides and vendors of touristy Taksim and Sultanahmet by staying in the central, chic neighborhood of Cihangir. I am a travel writer who has lived in flats in my favorite cities around the world. This apartment is one of them. Located in bohemian character- filled central Cihangir, just 10 min to Taksim Square (950 restaurants and bars at last count, and many shops) and the tram which will take you to the Old City in minutes. It is wonderful to look at the Old City skyline from your private balcony perch and when you want to be there to go down the hill to the tram.

We include a one-hour free session with our concierge Jessica, who will help orient you to the city.


Cihangir is populated by artists, intellectuals, film industry people, and foreigners. Cobblestone streets, wonderful turn of the century architecture, sidewalk cafes... Often compared to Montmarte in Paris.This three bedroom view flat is the perfect "home away from home."

Enjoy your own private view from the balcony (and the living and dining room) overlooking ships and ferries traversing the infamous Golden Horn. Across the water is a view of the magical skyline of Sultanahmet with Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, a view that most people can only see by dining in a handful of the city's restaurants or by staying in an outrageously expensive hotel room. It can be yours in this lovely flat in Istanbul's best neighborhood.

Master bedrm has a queen bed, 2nd bdrm has 2 twin beds which can be moved together to create one bed. The third bedroom is a curtained off alcove with a double bed...feel like a sultan in this bed with wonderful views when the curtains are open. The living room has a convertible couch. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom configuration is a large tub/shower + sink room, separate room for toilet and sink. A fabulous apartment in which to enjoy your stay in Istanbul. 1st floor, 1 flight of stairs.

Prices are in usd and based on 1-4 people. Please add $15 per night for each additional person. There is a one-time cleaning/prep fee of $70 usd.
