This condo is perfect for those who don't want to spend their time driving around in their car. You are close to shopping, restaurants, activities, open markets, and of course the beach. Fully equipped kitchen if you decide to dine on the lanai which has a wonderful view of the tropical grounds, pool area, and a small ocean view as well. The kitchen and bath rooms were recently remodeled, as well as tile throughout. There is covered assigned parking, and a nice area, and hi-speed internet access. 5 Night Minimum Stay/10 During Ironman and Christmas Season. W-01

Kona base camp Mark S. from Edmonton, AB recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2013 Location was excellent and the place was secure, clean and had lots of space. We were walking distance to town restaurants and shopping, but we had to drive for groceries. It was also central for day trips along the coast for sights and snorkeling. It got a little hot upstairs in the evenings and opening things up early did help. We also found a plate that was broken almost in half in the cupboard. We appreciated the advice to help keep the bugs down. It helped with other places we rented after. Given all the cleaning we were asked to do before we locked up, the cleaning fee was hard to justify.We would recommend this to others looking for a large centrally located place in Kona. |

Loved how close we were to everthing as we only had a car for the first 10 days. Once we had circled the island a couple of times we enjoyed the rest of our stay relaxing by the pool! While the kitchen was well equipped, there were no basic food preparation items (e.g., cooking oil, sugar, salt, pepper or other spices) so if you plan to cook, be prepared to buy everything you need. However, beach chairs and cooler were appreciated. |
