Unit Description:
The "Cappella 1" apartment (4 people/85sqm) overlooks the beautiful internal courtyard and is situated on the first floor across from Cappella 3. Two short flights of stairs lead from the ground floor and culminate in a private 5sqm terrace. There are safety gates for children at the top and bottom of the stairs. The terrace is furnished and partially enclosed by panoramic glass windows that shield the wind and make it perfect for tranquil outdoor dining, even in milder weather.
From the terrace, a glass door opens into a living/dining room with fireplace and panoramic windows. A door on the left of the living area opens into a fully-equipped kitchen with gas range, electric oven, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. Another door opens into the hallway with doors to a double bedroom, a twin room and to two bathrooms complete with showers. One of the bathrooms contains a washing machine.
Four apartments, the wine cellars, the congress house and the chapel are located in this part of the Estate.
Overall Property Description:
Fattoria Quercia al Poggio was once a rural village home to a small community of farm workers consisting of around 10 families, first share croppers then dependants of the estate. Vallombrosan monks also resided here until two centuries ago. At that time, the village was truly self sufficient: shepherds, farmers and woodcutters exchanged their goods and the remainder was then sold at the market.
Today the owners have converted the village to offer guests the chance to enjoy a truly relaxing stay immersed in the Tuscan countryside. They personally follow each phase of the wine-making process in order to achieve a quality wine, sold both locally and internationally, to satisfy lovers of a genuine Chianti Classico.
Quercia al Poggio offers guests a wide range of self-catering apartments with the choice of one, two or three bedrooms. All apartments have spacious living areas, bathrooms and fully-equipped kitchens.
The property is composed by 2 main parts: the apts "Cappella", sharing one of the 2 pols, and about 400 mt far from these, the apartments "Proneta" (these can be booked together as a single villa, with private pool, sleeping about 20 guests).

Aside from the 2 stunning swimming pools, there is also a tennis court for our guests's use and a games room with billiards, ping pong and table soccer. We can also organize shiatsu massages, cooking and at classes. Quercia al Poggio is perfectly situated in the heart of Tuscany offering the perfect chance to visit Florencre, Siena, Pisa, Chianti and the seaside. The nearest village of San Donato is only 8 km away. Supermarkets, shops and restaurants are all a short drive away.

Please note that on arrival we require a refundable damage deposit of 260 Euro per apt. which will be returned to you - please make this payment in cash.
Welcome Dinner: Tuscan menu' could be prepared on Satrurday evening.
Euro 27 per adults and Euro 14 per child (up to 10 years old)
WEDDINGS and events: the owners require an extra charge of euro 1000, both for weekly rentals and also for shorter ones; this is paid half with at the reservation, half with the balance.
