Location: A Home Away from Home in Central Paris The flat allows you to watch the boats as they pass the lock below. Our neighbour, the latest modern art museum and private foundation in Paris, la Maison Rouge, was inaugurated on the 5th of June 2004 at number 10 of the Boulevard de la Bastille. Within walking distance (10 minutes) are Ile saint-Louis, Ile de la Cité (with Notre-Dame), the Place des Vosges with French novelist Victor Hugo's house in which he wrote his novels, especially Les Misérables, and Musée Picasso.
