B802 was very up to date and in excellent condition. We appreciated not having the afternoon sun that A building gets. The proximity to petrol, convenience store, restaurants, etc was excellent without having the large crowds found at Ka'anapali. Short drives to Honolua, Kapalani, Napili, Ka'anapali, and Lahaina. Excellent management. Wonderful bargain for our group of 22.

A family member recommended the Hololani to us. We absolutely loved our stay there. The unit was updated with granite counters, etc. and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay - even beach towels to use! The location was perfect, just a bit north of Lahania. The beach right in front of the property is nice and so convenient. However, we found a great beach for snorkeling just a short drive north (Kapalua?) which we loved, and wished we had discovered it when we first got there, not at the end of our stay. They rent snorkel gear there too! The only disappointment with our condo at the Hololani was it's location in the building. We were in Building B, and because we were not in an end unit, we were unable to see the sunsets from our huge lanai. However, we had a fabulous view of the water and beach and we loved leaving our doors open at night and hearing the ocean right below us. Can't wait to go back!!

B802 was an incredible condo, beautifully appointed with all the amenities of home. We loved it. There was nothing we lacked and will come back as often as possible. The Hololani is small and intimate - which we liked. We recognized everyone staying there after a few days at the pool. It's also in a fantastic location w/a general store a few feet away as well as the snorkle shop and coffee shop.

Our condo was locked when we arrived and we had to search for help to get in. After a long day traveling this was a problem.We enjoyed our stay in Maui very much. This was our 3rd time there but first at Hololani. The condo was nicely decorated and met our needs well. The lack of beach to sit on or walk and the grounds were dissapointing. The location was also very noisy.

Our family (2 adults, with an 11 and 13 year old) loved our stay at the Hololani. The Condo was spacious and immaculately clean (I actually walked into the patio door after checking out the lanai on the first evening that we arrived - it was so clean that I hadn't realized it was closed - this amused my children to no end.)
The view was amazing. We fell asleep to the sound of the surf each night and woke each morning to sit on the lanai and enjoy the view of the whales jumping. We saw more whales than we could count. It was a pleasure to make breakfast in the morning while watching the view, it provided us a nice relaxing start to each day. We appreciated that the Hololani is a smaller building without the crowds of some of the busier resorts. The area is relaxing yet still close to great golfing, swimming and excursion opportunities. Grocery stores were an easy drive away, and a convenience store was located across the street.
Great vacation and wonderful accommodations. We hope to get back to Maui and would definitely choose to stay again at Hololani. Thanks so much to the unit owners, manager and maintenance people for the great hospitality.
