The house was beautiful and in great condition, clean, etc. The location was great, with easy access to hiking trails and parks, yet a ton of privacy. It was a nice treat to be able to see the stars at night. Our only complaint was that we found the beds a little uncomfortable (lumpy and hard). Everything else was wonderful. |

4 stars Jackie R. from Trumble, CT recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 We loved the view, satified with how clean it was,and loved the location to things we wanted to do. It needs a dehumidifier in the basement, had a faint propane sent near stove, and needed insulation to sound proof it better. Internet ws not available upon arrival and no one got back to us till my husband made a trip to office personally after 2 days of calling. Office didn't respond to calls. Property Manager Response: Response from Franconia Notch Vacations It is with regret that we were unable to reach these guests during our attempts to remedy the WiFi internet at their home. The office did in fact respond to the calls, however they were not in the house each time we did, including when we traveled to the property to troubleshoot the issue ourselves. Although the wireless function of the router was unavailable due to mechanical default, the wired connection was working fine, and and so we offered the cable connections necessary to get them on-line as they had hoped. To close, we did respond, and we did take care to correct the issue to the best of the abilities available during their stay. As a side note we must offer that mountain not be considered synonymous with hi-tech, hi-touch connectivity trips. |

The house was clean and comfortable. It was well appointed with everything you could need. The view was better than the pictures on the web site. The house is very close to town which made it very convenient. Franconia vacation rentals were great to work with. We would rent this again and recommend to friends!
