Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 House was a little rundown (kitchen faucet leaked but repaired next day by management) & two upstairs bedrooms do not have doors...fine for a bunch of kids not wanting privacy but not great for couples. Need fans for all bedrooms in summer. |

Stayed for 2 days in May, 2011 The house needs some serious updating. A look at the beds made as question whether we even wanted to put our sheets and sleep on them. The heater didn't work upstairs and it was a cold weekend. The heating system downstairs didn't reach one of the bedrooms so we all had to campout in the living room and one room. What was suppose to be a vacation for our family, turned out to be a big disappointment for everyone. Not sure we want to return to Twain Harte for awhile. Property Manager Response: Response from Twain Harte Vacation Rentals We were not informed about the heating issue until later in your stay. Once we got that message, we sent someone over right away. Always best to report problems immediately - we are reachable at all times by phone. |

Better than nothing to stay A guest from Fremont, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2011 When we arrived the driveway has a lot of snow and was not plowed. Two bedrooms we didnt use because it feels spooky. Some of the beds are sagging. The 1/2 bathroom is weird, when you want to use the toilet bowl you have to seat sideways because there is no leg room. The carpet is old and furnitures. I would not recommend this property to a friend. Again, it's better than nothing to stay. |

Good Cabin, but needs a lot of upkeep Rajesh M. from Santa Clara, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2010 Based on the photos a the site, this cabin looked nice and we booked it. The cabin and location were very nice, though it severly needs some upkeeping. The beds were stained, there were some bedbugs and the stairs had a nail poking out of it that injured 4 kids and an adult. Carpet cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. I have to say that this was an odd expeerience out - we have been renting cabins from for many years now and witht he exception of this cabin, we had very wonderful experiences.Hopefully user reviews will bring light to the situation at Joaqin 47 and it will undergo the needed repairs and cleaning. |
