Perfect multi family vaction house
Aimee J. from San Ramon, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2016 This was perfect, with two rooms upstairs + loft and a second apartment downstairs. Two-three small families or one big family could comfortably stay here. We had two 3 person families, and it was very spacious. Large deck to bbq looking out to the lake. The lake is a 5 minute walk away!
A guest from Martinez, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in July, 2015 The cabin definitely needs some attention. Sliding door on the appt. downstairs is bent and hardly slides, cannot plug anything in electrical outlets in the two bedrooms downstairs, the plugs just fall out, faucet in kitchen leaks at the base, We only BBQ'd once since the BBQ is so dirty it just flairs up and burns the meat. We have been renting this cabin for many years and really enjoy it but it definitely needs some repairs.
Lynn or Ann S. from Martinez, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2014 Another great stay at the Twin Cedars Cabin. Only feedback we have is that all the electrical outlets in the bedrooms do not hold plugs tightly. When anything was plugged in the outlets got very hot and the plugs kept falling out. Just concerned this could be dangerous. Otherwise, we enjoy this cabin very much.
Christine H. from Woodland Hills, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 We had a wonderful time. The cabin units each have a deck with a peekaboo lake view. We had a blast at the adorable T.H. Lake carnival. We rented a ski on Tulloch one day, repelled in moaning cavern and wine tasting on another day.Fabulous vacation! Excellent location!
John K. from Elk Grove, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2014 We had a ball. Grandparents, kids, and grandkids playing together. Swimming, fishing, baseball at the field, golf, and lots of games. Our cabin was perfect - especially the downstairs quarters which was perfect for the early risers.
Mike M. from Santa Cruz, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2013 Family reunion loved coming back to Twain Harte to the same cabin we stayed in for several consecutive years in the 1990s. Just as we remembered it. Note - Main Fridge needs replacement, lost some food as it did not keep it cold enough
Lynn R. from Irvine, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 The lack of windows at the back (over looking the porch) made for very poor ventilation. We had to run the fans constantly. Even though we could sit on the patio and have a nice breeze coming from the lake, there was only the door that would let the air move through the house. We had to sleep with the porch door open at night just to try and cool the house down. If those big windows could have opened it would have been wonderful!
Lynn or Ann S. from Martinez, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 We have been renting this cabin for years. We would love to see them replace the shower head in the bathroom upstairs. It is very old and difficult to adjust.
Lisa S. from Concord, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 We have rented this house for many years. The property is well kept by the owners. the kitchen is stocked with plenty of silverware/plates/glases and cookware. Overall a very comfortable house to rent.
A guest from Walnut Creek, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2011 The cabin was wonderful, easily fitting two families of 10 people, and providing all of the necessities needed for a 3 day stay. Wonderfully decorated, the cabin is actually more charming than the site pictures capture! One note, the WiFi internet was not functioning, we alerted THVR management to address. We would definitly stay here again.
A guest from Palo Alto, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2010 The complaints we have of the place were as follows: wifi did not work, rental company was not helpful. In law unit was extremely hot when main unit was comfortable. rails of loft were very widely spaced and dangerous for kids. Locks required keys from inside-- not safe in case of fires.
Lisa S. from Concord, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2009 We have stayed in this house for at least the last 15 years. The owners always do something every year to update the place. This year it was a huge gas BBQ. A great place to stay.
Lorrie M. from San Rafael, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2009 We love our week in Twain Harte. The house is in a great, convenient location. The house is very well appointed and we loved the new gas BBQ.
