It was very clean and nice inside and it was very easy to deal with management. Checking in and out was a breeze. It is about a 20 minute walk to the village. Only complaints were the issues we had with the hot tub and the fact that there was no ironing board... Simple fixes!!

Had to double up on a couple beds but it didn't seem cramped at all. Pretty easy walk to the lower village (did it every night), extremely easy check-in/check-out process, very nice and clean place. Hot tub was an added bonus! Mattresses were quite uncomfortable for the most part. It was clean and dealing with peak to green was easy. I would stay here again.

We can only assume that they are not what the guest is used to having. Without specific details, we cannot comment on the poor score on the other items. Guests should provide details when giving poor ratings as it is not fair to the management, owners and other guests.

The dining table can only fit 6 people around it while we had 9 people staying.2. The kitchen is ill-equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans are too small to cook for large groups.3. We were constantly having second-hand smoke in the upstairs area due to the neighbors.

Stayed for 4 days in January, 2014 montebello condos are clean and nicely appointed, we had an initial issue with the wifi but Barry was out the next morning and fixed it. the condo is about 1/4 mile from the village and a little off the bus route, a solid walk to the base of the ski hills so a rental car is a good thing or plan to walk to the bus in regular shoes and change near the hill. comfy beds, our two families really enjoyed it and would stay there again!

Our towhouse had 4 bedroooms. The upstairs master bedroom queen mattress was "so so". The downstairs master bedroom queeen mattress was very good. The small front bedroom with 2 single beds-these mattresses were very good. The small bedroom with bunk beds-these mattresses were very poor. Perhaps some new mattesses are in order considering we were paying over $900/night. Also most chairs need new felt glide pads on the bottoms of their legs. Overall a very nice place.

We also did not receive any phone calls from the guest regarding electrical fixtures or tv's not working. the property is 13 years old and in excellent condition. All tv's have digital cable boxes with a large selection of channels. the TV in the living room could be updated, but there are tvs in 3 of the 4 bedrooms as well. The pictures are accurate.

I did have communication problems with the management as I would call about something needing attention and they either didn't get back to me or I had to call again and follow up on progress on items that needed service. We didn't get to enjoy the hot tub while we were there as they were having problems with the technician and I had to follow up to see if progress had been made. They did offer to pay for us to go to the rec-center but after a day on the mountain the last thing you wanna do is drive down the road to use a hot tub with kids and strangers. Other than that they were very polite every time I talked to them.

We finally had to get rid of the hot tub service provider and hire a different company. The new company is extremely responsive and professional. Any problems we have had since the change have been dealt with quickly. We hope that you will stay with us again in the future and maybe we can make it up to you in some way.

Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 There were just 8 of us, and all couples, so the bed situation was a little difficult at first with just two beds for 2 and one room set up for kids with bunkbeds and a daybed. and THEN the hottub was not working and was not repaired during our entire stay because the repair people could not get the expense covered by the owners -- several people in our party had specifically asked about having a hottub when we made the reservations. Otherwise, its a beautiful accomodation, great location, warm and cozy inside. We all skiied and snowboarded, cooked good food and enjoyed each others' company.

So the different bed configurations meet the needs of more people such as families and groups with singles. I don't think that we misrepresented the beds in our advertising so there must have been a breakdown in communications at some point. The Hot tub issue is very serious and it wasn't the expense part as indicated. It was the fact that we had a hot tub service provider that we kept getting promises from that he never delivered. We finally had to get rid of him and hire a new company. The new company is extremely efficient and got the problems corrected immediately. There have been minor problems since but all have been dealt with swiftly. It is a great property, and I hope we have the opportunity to have you stay with us again in the future.

Having to do this twice only gets me more riled over our past stay. Your records should show that I have booked this particular suite for at least the past 3 years just before Xmas. We wouldn't be coming back if it didn't work for us but I am not sure there will be a next time. Shortcomings this past stay, in no particular order, include:1. The oven was filthy. Upon using it we smoked out the kitchen.2. We couldn't get the TV in the living room to work.3. The igniter on the outdoor BBQ didn't work and there were no matches in the place.4. Probably the biggest issue - the hot tub was slimey, apparently had a leak and the pump was squeeling so bad during our last nite that i had to shut the breaker off at 3AM so we could get some sleep. A private hot tub is a big deal for us and this was a huge disappointment. I informed Barry and Diane each separately about the hot tub issues and they said they would take care of them. That didn't seem to happen. I am sure the hot tube pump was on its last legs and no doubt has since been replaced.Other than this, we managed. There is no excuse for the oven being not clean. The TV works fine so it would have just been a matter of having someone come over to show how the controls work. They can be a bit complicated at times, but we are just a phone call away and have someone available every day of the year. Igniters on BBQs do go but we would have been happy to bring over matches if we had known. the hot tub is a different issue. The service provider kept promising to remedy the problems and kept failing. We finally had to get rid of him and hire a new provider.We gave him 1 too many chances to correct things and unfortunately, it inconvenienced our guests. Since that move, we have not had any further problems, and if there were issues, they were dealt with in a quick and professional manner. I will personally be in touch with the guest to see if we can make an offer on future stays. Barry

Stayed for 5 days in February, 2011 we were happy with the townhome , the hottub stopped working , and they were very fast in getting it fixed. the only draw back was the unit was out of the free shuttle zone so we took cabs back and forth to the village (they were very quick and cheap) $6 which turned into $10 with tip , but then you got door to door service , also the bunk bed didn't have a latter (50 year old men) need latters

When I made the booking, I specifically asked for something "in" the village as we didn't plan to drive and we had many kids. The booking agent convinced me into this condo as she described it as it was walking distance to the village and there would be shuttle bus service to the village running very frequently. Ended up it wasn't that close to walk, especially in such a severely cold weather during our stay; and there was no shuttle bus service at all! Frankly, my holiday would be entirely ruined if not for our luck that we managed to borrow a car from a friend in Vancouver.
