Not real keen on the back yard so close to retail stip center and folks walking thru the property to the beach.A/c is not enough tonage for the size home it is so it was difficult to keep cool. Did not see the part about needed to bring soap, toilet paper dishwashing soap in advance of my stay.

Great location (close to beach) and very spacious. But upper bunk beds are not suitable for children (no safety rail or working ladders). No lamp in kids bunkroom. King beds are very old and squeaky. Kitchen needs inventory - few matching pans with lids. Lots of flatware - enough for a banquet!

Great Galveston Winter Stay

Wonderful stay in Feb/Mar 2008, particularly coming from wintery Illiois. Somewhat surprised that more 'northerners' weren't enjoying Galveston's weather, culture, history and seafood. House Co staff most helpful. House in good shape, sufficient for 6 people, close to good Gulf beach, 15 min to Galveston and 1 hr to Houston.
