It is a comfortable apartment with a great light in the morning. It is a XIX century flat, with wooden floor and ceilings and a front balcony with a broad view through part of Bica. The flat was carefully decorated, combining modern and traditional Portuguese furniture and objects. It has 2 bedrooms and is deal for 4 persons.

Bairro da Bica is at one of the seven hills of Lisbon, and dates from the XVI century. Bica is crossed by a main street - Rua da Bica Duarte Belo – which is known for the funicular – “Elevador da Bica”. This district spreads down through this main road and along the hill that comes from Bairro Alto till the area of Cais do Sodré. The main road is crossed by parallel streets, which end up in large stairs made of “calçada portuguesa” (Portuguese pavement), with trees in between. Most of its buildings date from the XVI-XVIII century and are covered either by Portuguese tiles or by the usual Lisbon buildings colours – yellow, pink, soft blue and white – which enlighten the Lisbon light. A garden with a terraza and a view is set right to Bica in Santa Catarina. This is a quite, central and sunny district.

From Bica, you easily walk to Cais do Sodré where the Cascais train takes you in a 30 minutes travel to the Estoril Coast. A spot you shouldn’t miss!
