This is a great place to stay, especially for a long visit, as it is quite convenient and within walking distance of the Plaza, Bent Street, galleries, and museums. Walking around Taos is one of our favorite activities, and this location is perfect for being able to walk through out the main areas of interest plus walking through the neighborhoods.Since we were away from home for six weeks total, we had our small dog with us. We would not have left her for that long a period, so it was nice to have a dog friendly environment.We have stayed here before and always felt safe, partly because the outside gates were locked. This visit, however, one of the renters left their gate open most of the time, evening using a rock to hold the gate open. And the gate lock was broken the entire month we were there.Amber was most helpful and responsive to any needs that we had. She was great to work with. The only negatives were the unlocked gate and some pans not being very clean.Judith K. Matthews
