THIS HOME MAY HAVE A MINIMUM NIGHT STAY BASED ON SEASONALITY AND AVAILABILITY.
Fabulous gated home in prestigious Sierra del Norte. Formal living room with fireplace and views, this home offers three suites, each with a private bath. To afford flexiblity for guests, there is a sofa bed in the library adjoining the master bedroom. Downstairs there is a sitting room between the two queen suites and for the little ones or singles in the group there is another bedroom with two single trundle beds. The informal kitchen/dining room enjoys a breath-taking view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. There is a covered portal off the dining area for a BBQ or margarita. You can also enjoy the rooftop deck with 360 degree views. The home is equipped with refrigerated air conditioning in the main living area upstairs, including the master suite. The downstairs bedrooms offer portable evaporative coolers. After skiing come home & relax in the secluded hot tub amid the pinon trees.

Everything was there that we needed - even sleds for the children the day it snowed - The house was so comfortable with little spaces to get away and read a book when one needed some alone time. The views were breathtaking and we spent many early mornings and evenings up on the deck looking at the sunrise, sunset,etc. I fell in love with Santa Fe and hope to get back there someday. A wonderful family vacation and Christmas was very special this year. We even put up a tree and hung their stockings for Santa to fill. Many thanks to you for finding us the perfect house! --JD

Intoxicating scent of pinion in the air. The house was beautiful with lovely art and comfortable decor. The roof top deck offers stunning 360 views. The main-level dining patio was perfect for dining out. When we did leave to go roaming about, we were never far from where we wanted to go. The location was ideal for feeling like you're away from it all, but knowing that you're just minutes from town. Very pleased with our stay and would definitely go back again! |

Shower water pressure, excluding the Master Suite, was terrible. The Management firm informed us the property was within walking distance to the inner city/square which proved false. Though told we would be able to check in an hour earlier (3pm) instead of 4pm, that was rescinded and caused some disconcern on our Wife's for our plans included the early checkin. Our opinion; the rental/management company appeared to only have the "owners" interest in mind, not the renters. Probably look elsewhere in the future. |

Stayed for 4 days in April, 2011 Beautiful home not far from town. Very spacious with nice indoor and outdoor living areas. Works well for large family gathering or friends sharing a place, as there are many separate areas to work and play, both inside and out. View from the upper deck is fantastic. The property manager we worked with was very helpful. One word of caution: the 4th bedroom with the twin beds has no easy access to a bathroom. |

Our overall experience was wonderful. There were 2 families (8 people total) that stayed in the house. We all had plenty of room. The house was very nice, had a gorgeous view, and was well appointed with amenities. Although we did know when we booked it that that hot tub was broken, it still would have been nice if it worked. After spending the day on the slopes, it would have been so nice to come in and sit in the hot tub. This would have just made the experience even better. The location of the house is just minutes from the Square, and on the same side of town headed to the slopes. Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and would stay there again! |

The towel rack kept falling and the showerhead broke. Also, we were told before we went that the hot tub outside is broke. we also found a message on the Jacuzzi in the master bedroom that it is broke as well. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2010 The house is beautiful and the location is great with a nice view and convenient to everything. Very comfortable and well furnished (and an excellent library!) The one major complaint we had was with the hot tub- it was broken before we got there and never fixed over a week-long visit. For a winter ski vacation, that was a major issue for us; we would not have rented the house. It is understandable that things break; however, for this price range, management and owners should have done everything possible to get it fixed in a timely manner (overnight parts, etc.). They didn't, which was very disappointing. Another data point, the website says the house has a jacuzzi bath but that was broken as well and has been for MONTHS. At a minimum, the website should be changed, or better yet, get it fixed! We are not sure if the broken hot tub/jacuzzi bath tub are a trend or not but I would definitely confirm everything works before renting! |

Stayed for 7 days in March, 2010 Our overall stay was great, plenty of room for our family of seven and great to have full kitchen. We called it "home." There were minor things like no cable and internet for days, dirty dishes in cabinet, so we ended up washing everything before use. Also, contacted Kokopelli about the fact that the kids' room is like a dungeon - off the laundry and no escape if there is a fire. It freaked the kids out because so dark and quiet except for the clanking pipes. They slept there one night. Was told it passed code, but I'm sure they had the doors to the studio unlocked when inspected - they were locked when we were there. Haven't heard back yet. Made it tough for our kids to have to sleep on pull-out. I would love to recommend Kokopelli, but I feel the "sleeps 12" was misrepresentation and caused frustration. |
