Located in the historic Guadalupe district, this pristine and stylish 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom adobe home is in a perfect location of Santa Fe's famous Railyard. The casita is also within walking distance of both the historic Plaza, and Canyon Road, where there is an abundance of great restaurants, galleries and retail stores. Enjoy all these areas for just a short stroll from your front door.
The home itself has all you could ask for, well-representing a modern southwestern adobe-style home, with tile floors throughout, fireplace and an outdoor patio. As you enter the home, you come into the beautiful living room, with its southwestern decor. You immediately notice the ceiling vigas and kiva fireplace. Furnished with a comfortable couch (which can be converted into a sleeper sofa), rocking chair and flatscreen TV, it is the perfect place to relax after exploring town, or enjoying with friends and family. Wi-fi is also available in the casita.
From the living room you enter the kitchen. With updated cabinets, granite counter tops and all stainless steel appliances, this modern kitchen is a great place to cook any cuisine. Just off the kitchen is a lovely space for dining, with a table seating for 4, it supplies a fantastic place for grabbing a quick breakfast before starting the day, or having a chile-infused New Mexican dinner.
The bedroom continues the southwestern motif with viga ceilings and southwestern decor. The bedroom is equipped with a queen-sized bed; a full bath with a vanity and a shower/tub combination is found just adjacent.
Off the front of the house is a little patio great for enjoying morning coffee and reading the newspaper. There is a one-vehicle carport, and enough off-street parking for 2 vehicles.

Poor first impression but overall a good experience. A guest from Rolling Meadows, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in October, 2011 The property makes a poor first impression. The directions to the property were wrong in terms of which side of the street the property was located. The drive way was too narrow to open the doors of the car. We had to back out and park on the street. The latch on the gate had a screw stripped out and was hanging by one screw. However, once we were inside, the casita was well appointed and we were quite comfortable. |

Add some info to your confirmation paperwork, please Reviewed by: Rolf's L. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2010 All was good. My one less-than-favorable comment is not due to anyone in particular that I dealt with but with unforeseen consequences of my booking. I booked with relatively short notice and in my haste I did not get the exact locations of either the casita nor the Kokopelli office (where the keys are kept after hours). With the aid of a friend I was able to locate the property and the confirmation documents gave the combination of the key-lock box. But these documents did not suggest whether the box was at the property or the office; I'd gone to the casita first. The office seemed the next logical location but its address was nowhere to be found, not even under the logo on the letterhead. Luckily my friend knew the location and guided me there. From that point everything was fine. So I'd suggest adding your office address and note that the lockbox may be found there in your instructions to guests. Stayed for 58 days in September, 2007 the apartment was terrific... the only problem i had was parking in the driveway.. i rented an suv and the driveway is a little narrow. also the street is narrow and sometimes people would park on the street across from my driveway and it could be difficult pulling out, i ended up parking on the street which was no problem as there was always space |
