Stayed for 4 days in January, 2013 It was a nice house. there were no outdoor lights as the fixture was missing light bulbs and you need a ladder to reach. Also the ice maker was broken. THe house is nice and clean and good location to walk to railyard. The neighborhood does seem a little sketch. Overall a great time. |

Only complaint was noises and strange activity in master bedroom which led to our discovering left clothes under the bed. Only other suggestion would be better lighting in master bedroom (the one off the kitchen. Appreciated the supply of coffee and general kitchen accoutrement and location and lay out of house. It's a relaxing, well tended yard and well designed house. |

Stayed for 4 days in May, 2012 Overall, it is a great house and we had a great trip.Couple of things that were disappointing given the price paid:1) Cockroaches in the both bedrooms and bathroom in the front of house. Because of this, I would be hesitant to recommend this house.2) Backyard should have been mowed. It appeared to have never been mowed as the grass was knee high in areas. The backyard could have been beautiful if it was manicured.3) Dishes and glasses were pretty dirty - we had wash dishes before we could use them.4) Dishwasher would not drain completely - probably needs to be looked at. |

Santa Fe Treasure vacation rental Ross P. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2012 The house was nice, and it it was located in a good area. We found the accomodatioms met our expectations. My only frustration was the wireless. I specifically asked for a place with wireless service. However, there was a password protected network and no one at the Kokopelli office new the password or how to access it. They kept telling me there was no password. Finally, after two days of my calling, they sent out a tech support person who confirmed that a password was indeed required and was able to out what the password was so I could connect to the internet. that was a frustrating issue for me. |

Kind of a creepy area. Also, 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people for 4 days. Uncomfortable sofa. Dusty, dirty curtains and a very old heating system. We were happy to see a co detector! We stayed in Taos for a few days in a house rental that was nearly $100 less and 2x better. Also - the keys were not ready when we arrived. Would not go with this rental company again. Close, but not quite A guest from Boerne, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2007 The house is cozy enough, but overpriced for what you get. The neighborhood was pretty scary - this is obviously an area that is being rehabilitated. Nothing upscale about the house - beds are terribly uncomfortable. Heating system was not so good - very uneven throughout the house so we were always looking for warm spots. But it was clean and had the basics. If you go in knowing you are getting a second tier property it wouldnt be so bad. That was not what we expected. Location is awkward - you cannot walk to anything so we spent a lot of time driving and not knowing the area. |
