The condo was nicely located a block from the beach. The condo was well-supplied with most things needed. Beds were not the most comfortable but were adequate.

We had a wonderful family get-together at the Aptos beach property. The house was completely furnished, extremely clean, with full amenities. We could tell that great care had been taken to assure every comfort. We wish we could have stayed longer!

For the price, I would have expected a much nicer furnishings/decor. Hot tub took 24 hours to warm up. But layout, # beds and pet-friendliness worked for our large group, and it was nice being 2 blocks from the beach. I also was disappointed at the lack of flexibility for extended hours, especially given there was nobody in the house right before or after us. If you stay in this house with a dog, note that EVERY dog we saw on this beach was on a leash. Not what we'd hoped for!

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Seacliff Glen Home in Aptos, CA. The house had plenty of space, it was great to be able to walk to such a nice beach, and we loved the barbecue, decks, hot tub, videos, and games.

We need a bigger place. We have two houses, yours an another and we still had to rent motel space. We love the vacation that we started over 20 years ago. Between my sisters family and mine we have eight kids, now some of them have kids and everyone wants to come to the beach!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are in need of a five bedroom in the flats of Rio Del Mar.

A Bit Over-priced for the Comfort but Great for Beach Proximity

The Beds were VERY uncomfortable- all of them. Some beach amenities were provided and the beach was a short walk even though it was not within view from any point of the property. Management was helpful but don't stay here if you are looking for 4 comfortable bedrooms or looking to sleep more than six people (pushing it). The upstairs couch was more comfortable than either of the two the makeshift "beds" provided in the "rec-room" downstairs. The owner would do well to update the downstairs beds in all rooms (two bedrooms downstairs and a rec-room), not 3 bedrooms as advertised - and one bedroom upstairs. Given that we were told it 'sleeps 8 comfortably' we felt a bit mis-led and will not stay there again; not because of the number it sleeps, but to reiterate (again, repeatedly), COMFORTABILITY. The layout was nice however and the upstairs bedroom nicer/more comfortable than the rest. We dug the catwalk deck accessible through the living room and kitchen nook. In addition, the kitchen nook and the living room were connected by a separate adjoining door. NOTE: if you have little ones (toddlers and younger), this isn't the place for you unless you bring gates to block off the stair case which is very steep.

Our 1st and 2nd choices turned out to be unavailable, even though the website listed them as available for those dates we requested. However, the property manager worked hard to get us into a place. Although there was not the ocean view we would have liked, we were very pleased with the property and we had a great time. Nice neighborhood, easy walk to the beach and dining, pleasant balcony patio.
