A Great Beach Rental!!

If you have a large family and like a little room to have fun, this is the beach house for you! This is the second year we have stayed at the Apricot Beach house, and our grown children (married with children) have so much fun that they request that we come back again next year. We love it because it is close to the beach, close to Santa Cruz, and Monterey. If you don't feel like venturing too far, the local area has good food to offer or you can stay home and fix a special meal for the family. I highly recommend this beach home.

Hot tub was out of order. Exhaust fan on stove did not work. Kitchen ceiling light bulb burned out. No cleaning (understood that do be done on a daily basis). No apricots (understood we would have a different variety every day). Handle on reclining chair did not operate. Wash machine not leveled. No internet connection, but forgot to ask regarding same

A Frustrating Trip

We originally rented the Pond at Quail Hollow. Upon arrival, the owner of the property met us in the driveway unaware anyone was coming. The senior male owner continued to walk around us and our cottage with no shirt on and it was very uncomfortable. The cottage was just a few ft from there patio door! We could not go outside and share the patio with the owner and yard maintenance workers! It was a gorgeous property, but not private at all! In the morning they were entertaining on their patio a few feet from us, so we had no privacy. I had to clean the microwave as well as a mug before warming up a cup of coffee, there were ants all over the kitchen and floors and no trout fishing on the property, as disclosed. You had to drive down the street to fish. After speaking with the manager at AGPTS, she graciously relocated us to another home.(Apricot Beach) It was close to the beach and was fine, but we lost a day of our weekend and it was quite disappointing. I might go back to the Apricot Beach Home, if I go again, but the neighbor to the left was mean! About 9:30pm, my friend was startled by a skunk in the backyard while she was in the hot tub. When she yelled, the woman next door screamed SHUT UP!a good thing my friend wasn't hurt or something!

Thank you for the fresh flowers. Nice accent.There was a wet puddle near the washer...didn't seem to stay thank goodness.Neighbor was a little grumpy when we went out to jaccuzi - adults only and they were very quiet. She however was very load the following day sitting in her back yard talking on the phone - had to close door to get our baby to sleep. Other than that it was a wonderful place in a beautiful area :)

Walking distance to beach except there are 152 stairs down to the beach. The house holds 10 but the hot tub is for 2-3. Quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurnts.
