We had 8 adults gathered for our daughter's graduation from UCSantaCruz. Overall, our stay was great. My only concern is that this property is listed as a one story unit. We had two elderly people with us and the steps down to the dining area from kitchen and living room were a problem. There was no hand rail, which made it difficult for my parents to navigate this unit. I had specifically asked about stairs, and was not told about these. I advise that you put this information on the website, for future clients. We loved the backyard/spa and bbq area, which is where we spent the majority of our time!

We loved Redwood Beach glen and had a great stay. There are a couple things you need to be aware of. There is one bedroom (red, white and blue) with a mattress so hard the room is really not usable. It was not a problem for us, since my kids (who live in town) decided not to sleep over. But it really needs to be addressed. Also, the furnace in the cottage doesn't work. When we got there, the pilot light was out. Your crew was fabulous and got someone out to light it that very first evening. Unfortunately, it didn't stay working past an hour or so, but again, it wasn't a problem for us as the weather was good that week-end and we were fine. But it could be an issue for someone else in the future. Not to worry, we had a great stay. Just wanted to let you know.

The property is well-maintained. The only thing that was off-putting was the under-sink area which is moldy and extremely malodorous. This also affects the lower cabinet with the rotating shelves which hold pots and pans. Using pans that are kept in such an unhealthy environment was unpleasant. We washed those which we wanted to use during our stay and then just kept them out of that cupboard for the duration. Also, the guest house windows need screens. There was a very friendly skunk that apparently likes the property A LOT!:)

Our family had a blast in Santa Cruz! We loved Redwood Wood Beach Glen's location,a short walk to West Cliff Dr, the beautifully landscaped back yard is huge! We had so many wonderful family bbq's and played lots smashball and volleyball. The kids loved the hot tub after a day of body surfing and I loved the fact that the house was big enough that we could all have enough space to breath and chill out. I would definitely recommend this place and absolutely rent it again.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The backyard and hot tub were great. The kitchen/living areas were a bit small for 4 bedrooms worth of people but we're all good friends so it wasn't a problem for us. It was only a couple blocks from the ocean for a scenic walk but a significantly longer walk if you wanted to actually get beach access. Nice playground close by.

The house was nicer inside than anticipated by the appearance of the front of the house, new paint color? The cottege shower had hair in it. Otherwise very comfortable. The grounds are nice but the cleaning price which included landscaper/hot tub cleaner was high- that would prevent me from renting this house again. Location was nice and central and convenient and even though it is on a busy street, traffic noise wasn't too bad on the inside.

This was a very nice home with a large yard and hot tub. The only drawbacks were the single bathroom in the main house - the 2nd bath is in the guest house, also the deck furniture was pretty grimy and need to be replaced.
