I've stayed at 3 house now and this one is the best in terms of location! It's across the street from the water, 2 blocks from an amazing beach and a mile and a half from Capitola! We had the best time and thank everyone for making out trip wonderful!

We love this house! It has such a great location-you can watch surfers literally anytime of the day or night! It has everything we need after a long day hiking or biking-the hot tub really comes in handy. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone that was going to visit Santa Cruz.

We had a lovely time at the Flamingo house in Pleasure Point. The staff at A Great Place to Stay was very helpful and we will likely call again next year for the 4th time in a row. But please, please, please professionally exterminate for ants. Our biggest hassel was having to clean the kitchen spotless after every single meal and not being able to keep one crumb out of the refridgerator all week! It was exhausting mopping the floor 3 times a day.

The location is great and the house has nice views. The manager was responsive to requests on how to work the AV system, ant problems etc. we never found a kettle. The place turned out to be highly unsuitable for a wheelchair bound person.Inadequate, front door access, insufficient room for wheel chair entry to bedroom and bathroom, inadequate turning circle -- and future guests should be forewarned.

This is a great place for someone who wants to be in the middle of the surf scene. Right across the street is the cliff where all of the locals surfers get into the ocean. There's a couple of tables, so it's fun to go over to sit & watch the surfing, or you can stay in and watch all of the people go by from sun up to sundown & sometimes afterwards. This would not be a very good place to go if you are looking for peace & quite. Here you are in the middle of all of the action. There's a cute little market at the corner that makes the best breakfast. I would recommend getting some bicycles to ride around on or a skateboard, as the norm seems to be anything, but driving in a car. One of the days that we were there they held a surfing competition right across the street. Expect noise on a constant basis. If you are looking for action, this will be your place. I was slightly dissapointed that the big bedroom did not have a king sized bed like the description stated, both beds were the same size.

A great place to stay and would have loved to stay longer. The views were magnificent and the hot tub was relaxing late evening and early morning. The cottage is in a good location for exploring the coastal towns. As the cottage is situation on a one way system there was a steady stream of traffic passing which hampered the view slightly. I would definitely recommend the Flaming Del Mar and if I return to Capitola we will return to the cottage.

This little home is like visiting Grandma's house, with a million dollar view of the Pacific Ocean and prime surfer action! Quaint decor, fairly girly. Adequate kitchen, but no food storage for longer stay. Working gas FP adds warmth and ambience for chilly coast nights. Walking distance to Pleasure Pt. Village, close to all restaurants and activities. A jewel of a rental in Santa Cruz!

We just loved the Pink Flamingo Summer Rental. We are going to keep you as our # 1 place to stay in Santa Cruz.For years we have drove by that cute little pink house we are so happy that it became a summer rental. Perfect spot.Thank you again The Rodrigues family.

This was 2nd stay at property. Wonderful location...Well stocked kitchen. Problem with breaker for stove constantly having to be reset - this played havoc with the preparation of Thanksgiving Dinner. Property Manager had sent email which was missed due to travel to SC with new code for entering...therefore missed 1st night - this was resolved by manager next day. Management saved the day - just need stove to work without shutting off.

We had a great stay at this rental. The location was very convenient. It was great fun waking up each morning and watching the surfers try to conquer the waves just across the street from us. We plan to stay there again when we return in September-that alone is one of the highest recommendations that I can make.

This property is in an ideal location, house was as advertised, however... property managers were not cooperative with us. My family did not seem welcome at this location. We had problems with the managers, it seems kids are not accepted. My kids were harassed for playing on the lawn. Property managers became confrontational. I felt rental could not be enjoyed to its description. Beware of this property. 'Buck' please have respect for my family. Aloha

The location of this home is amazing (unless you have small children who would want to play outside). The view is spectacular. On the inside, the house is cozy- older furniture, decor and kitchen items. It has the feel of a house that has been in the family for a long time with the original furnishings- nothing fancy, but clean and resonable.
