Just step out your door to go fishing, kayaking, floating (tubing); or rock and relax on the spacious wrap-around porch (over 800 sq ft of covered porch & deck) overlooking the river. After a fun-filled active day or a lazy idyllic respite, fall asleep to the sounds of the rushing river waters. Situated on the bank of the Tuckaseegee River, this is a special place to spend your vacation or use as home base to visit Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee attractions: Maggie Valley & Cherokee (gambling casino), Gatlinburg, hiking, elk watching, Nantahala Outdoor Center. Shop, shop, shop til you drop in the unique shops of Sylva, Dillsboro or Waynesville. Enjoy casual or fine dining close by as well…many yummy choices. Take a scenic drive on the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway or take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. You might want to just stay “home” and fly fish or float in the Tuckaseegee River which is stocked with trout from Oct til June (please go to www.ncwildlife.org to see mountain trout regulations).


This finely furnished home can sleep 8 with 2 Master Suites (one downstairs, one up) each with its own king size bed & private bath (one has a Jacuzzi tub). The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and use of a 3rd full bath. The large loft area can sleep two in single sized bedding. You’ll still be able to check your email with wireless internet. All the modern conveniences: Air Conditioning, Gas Fireplace, Dishwasher, Microwave, Satellite TV. Covered parking for 2 cars. Please enjoy the pictures of this wonderful home!
