Beach and Tennis A-plenty! A guest from Westlake, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2008 Our vacation needs were simple: cure a case of the winter blahs by basking on the beach, playing some tennis, and getting an "advance" on Spring. We turned our attention to Hilton Head Island because of its great reputation as a vacation destination. We found what we were looking for at 73-74 The Moorings. It is as easy a walk to a broad, clean, soft sand beach in one direction as it is to the tennis center in the other. It was a bonus to learn that the rental included a daily hour of tennis at the Palmetto Dunes Resort. While the property can sleep more than our party of three adults, we found its layout to be well suited to our needs. It afforded elbow room for together time, and quiet separation for resting time. We liked the security of a gated community and took advantage of shopping and dining amenities both within the Palmetto Dunes Plantaion and beyond. The Vacation Company's professional handling of the rental process was also appreciated. |

Stayed for 7 days in April, 2007 This unit is really nice for a family with children or for two couples. We have used it for both and have been there twice. My only complaint is the master bedroom bed is soft and does not seem to be queen sized though that is what the unit states it has. The location is excellent. |
