Stayed for 7 days in April, 2010 This was our second visit to 1108 villamare, and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Beautiful view, very spacious and very well maintained. Would recommend to anyone looking for a well situated villa on the ocean.
Great, but... Scott B. from Grosse Pointe Farms, MI recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in April, 2009 Unfortunately they were repairing the stairwells during our stay and they began working early each morning. It made sleeping in impossible, and use of the balcony was very limited. Otherwise, the stay was good.

Stayed for 14 days in March, 2009 Location great - easy to get to General Store for coffee, newspapers, goodies, souvenirs. Good location on beach; easy to store bikes. Covered parking available, but best for smaller vehicles. Our suburban with bike rack was best parked outdoors. We didn't use the pool or workout facilities because we bike everywhere and walk everyday. The complex needs a hose when coming down the stairs from the beach to remove sand from shoes/bikes/toys etc. The property itself was very adequate - we used the washer/dryer, dishwasher; plenty of silverware, dishes, pans etc. A little short on kitchen storage space for boxes, cans, jars. A keyed safe available for valuables. Being on the first floor, we used the stairs all the time. However, it could be a little noisy when cars were coming in and out or landscape/construction crews began work. But that was inconsequential most of the time because we were busy. Had an ocean view and could open sliding doors for cool nighttime breezes. Furnishings updated; carpets could use a good scrubbing; plenty of drawer space and hangers in closets. Wifi worked best in bedrm; very slow while at dining table.

Stayed for 28 days in February, 2009 We simply had no complaints. The property was everything we had been promised and the view was better than we expected. We dropped by the office to ask a couple of questions and found the staff friendly and helpful.

Stayed for 7 days in July, 2007 We had a great time on the beach. Pool area was way to crowded - oily flim on pool most days so we stuck with the ocean. Heavy rains left a dangerous situation on the entry landings which did not drain away water :(
