Stayed for 28 days in February, 2009 Last year, I was told the two owners were coming after we left, to update unit. Except for new drapes, nothing was done. All furniture should be replaced, too old, too uncomfortable and too dirty. Another broken kitchen chair, in addition to the broken one from last year. Took me an hour to clean the inside of the washing machine of dried dirt and lint. The half bath hasn't properly flushed, for the past 3 years. Vacuum cleaner continues to smell, not sure if it's same one from previous years. Someone needs to go thru and do simple repairs. Owners need to stay for just a few days to see how neglected its become. The same bathroom tissue holder continues to need proper securing to wall. Something as simple as replacing the cracked bathroom trash pail, same cracked one for 3 years. We're sure we can find a cleaner, more comfortable unit for our long term rent next year. Obviously no one pays attention to the lists we've left in the past. |

Beach Living Next to the Pool Nancy H. from Charlotte, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2007 The condo, furniture, amenities, pool were all terrific. The kitchen was really too small for a 2-bedroom condo but it was "doable". The only maintenance issue we had was with the sliding glass door going onto the patio and grill---it stuck and took our engineer son-in-law from down the road in his rented condo to get it open. We did call the property manager but since it was on a Sunday, no one from maintenance was available to fix it until the next day (we planned a cook-out that Sunday and would have been in trouble if not for our son-in-law). The beds were very comfortable. All in all, we would happily return. |
