A Great Time Was Had by All Gale R. from Le Mars, IO recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2008 First I should say that I am a General Building Contractor so I may be more critical of some details than others might be. There were a few minor mant. issues that I called in. The worst was the Master bed room bed. It had a big sag in the middle. Two people could not sleep in it without rolling into each other. The slats under the bed were very bowed and nothing was done about it the week we were there. My wife voluntiered to sleep on the couch as a result. The other maint. items were taken care of quickly by good people. Ms. Love responed quickly to my calls and followed up the best she could. Both of the patio door's screens were a disaster. That is nobody's fault except the manufacturer's lack of quality. We find this same issue in my own projects all the time. I would suggest candle wax on the tracks would help the operation of the doors. The unit was a bargain for all the value it has. We are already planning a trip back soon and would still love to stay The Villimare. One of the building elevators was out of service for the frist couple days also, but I know that happens from time to time. The only thing that would be nicer would be wider parking places. Even tough we enjoyed exploring the island along with Savannah and Charleston, the best times were spent in the unit with my family having a wonderfull home cooked meal or playing cards or games and even watching DVD's together. You exercise area was excellent! We didn't use the pool because of the children in it all the time. It would be nice to have adult only time early in the morning and maybe later in the evening. |
