Good family condo close to upper village with hot tub, free parking, wifi
This deluxe 1200 sq ft, corner unit has an open living plan with high vaulted ceilings with a ceiling fan. The living area features gas fireplace, comfortable seating with a TV, DVD, CD/tape stereo, large windows and a balcony with secluded mountan views. The dining area has seating for 6 around a large oak table next to the fully equipped kitchen.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite with deep soaking tub. The second bedroom has a queen and opens to the balcony. The second bathroom is shared and has a glass shower stall. The loft over looks the living area and has 2 single beds and second TV.
Walk across the street and ski to the Wizard Chair or it is a 4 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of the Upper Village. 10 minute walk to Lost Lake, swimming, hiking, biking.
This newly renovated condo is highlighted with unique wooden artwork around the fireplace and up the stairwell leading to the loft. The condo provides a wonderful setting both in winter and summer while one enjoys the spacious, bright atmosphere that has been created for a perfect mountain getaway!

Only a few minutes to the base for athletes to load in the mornings. The unit had everything we needed. Only complaint would be the 2 queen beds are in need of replacing as they were not very comfortable. The twins were very comfortable. Would stay here again.

This year the only grievance was the mattress. We woke up every morning we terrible back pains. We could feel the springs and it sloped towards the middle of the bed. Most beds have not been as good as what we have at home but this unit was, quite frankly, awful and well below expectations.

Second, I'd like to say that Whistler Blackcomb reservations didn't handle this property well or you didn't have it listed properly. For whatever reason, we ended up with a property that slept six and were charged for 8 people. We had said that we wanted a property for 8 with a hot tub and near the village. We assumed that the $465 per night would give us a nice property but it wasn't a very nice property. That's about all. After talking with your staff, we realized that you have more appropriate properties that we would consider. We go on an annual ski trip to some place nice every year, this was the most shabby property we've stayed in and the most expensive.Thanks for reading.Mick
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. First, we have no control over what you were told by the reservations company and you should actually talk to them. We simply give them our property information and they book people in. They would have told you the size of the property and the bed configuration. Then you would have had to confirm acceptance. We do not, or did not, misrepresent the property in any way. There were 8 in your group and you were charged for 8.
2nd. You do not specify what makes this a "shabby" property. Without that information, we are unable to understand the statement. The property has had some upgrades and is in very good condition. If we had better input, we might be able to improve the property. Once you have made this statement, then other people will wonder what makes it "shabby" when we feel that is definitely not "shabby". It is unfair to make statements like that without backing it up with details.
Glad to hear that our staff were helpful. As you mentioned, we do have other properties that might be more appropriate, so call us direct next time, and we will find that ideal place for you.

A guest from Toronto, ON does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2013 Quality of furniture and amenities was not good. A mish-mash of cutlery, cups, etc. made it feel like the owners didn't care what they were presenting - they just threw their extras into this apartment. The furniture was not that nice and that contraption framing the fireplace - what was that?? And the woman at the front desk when we first arrived made us feel like we were a real burden for asking basic questions.

The hot tub was not working at the time so we were which was disappointing. Overall, I would recommend this property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
