Comfy for the price
Anna B. from Bothell, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2016 We enjoyed our time at Wildwood Lodge. The lication was an easy walk to the Blackcomb base. The unit was simple, but worked well for our family of three. Better pans wpuld have been useful and screens on the windows and doors would have been great! It was warm while we were visiting. We could have used a box fan, too. But seeing as how we were there in August, maybe we should have thought of that and brought one with us. Otherwise, it was quiet and just right.
Lynn W. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2016 The unit was clean, comfy and well stocked. Entry was lock box key entry which worked well as there were 3 people staying in the unit. Unit's back view was forested and quiet. I would stay here again and ask for this unit specifically. The only grievance was small, the toilet is loud when it is flushed so middle of the night visits were noticeable. There were a couple of bike storage options, both were full or not bike friendly.
A guest from Vancouver, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2016 We had a fabulous time in Whistler, Wildwood Lodge is a great location. Room was great for two people, bed comfortable. A few downsides, no place to grill, hot tub was out of order, the bathroom floor looked as if it hadn't been swept or mopped in years. Room and coridors were very hot, no air conditioning.Community events were fabulous. Staff was friendly helpful and informative. Great spot if you aren't in the room much. Which we spent our time out with family who had other accomodations. Basic but price was right.
Neil G. from BRONTE, NSW recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in January, 2016 Well organised and easy. I had everything I needed and the close proximity of the rental to the ski fields really made the experience special.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. We don't know why the low rating for the property without more details.
A guest from Courtenay, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2014 Great and clean place. Staff was very helpful. 4 minutes walk to the ski lifts. walking distance from down town Whistler. We had a great time.
A guest from Hoppers Crossing, Victoria recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2014 Fantastic if you're there for an extended period - self-contained units and close proximity to chair-lifts makes it easy for mountain access.
A guest from Victoria, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2013 A very good location. The room feels dusty, has chemical smell and doesn't have enough light. Blankets are terrible. Other than that - it's ok.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Wish we had been informed of these things while the guests were in house, so that we could have taken a look. Manager
Ruby S. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 Both personal on site were very helpful & friendly. Talking on the phone with Emily she was very understanding and helpful. When we arrived the guy at front desk was very informative of restaurants and sites around the lodge. Will return to this lodge again for a visit. Room was comfortable and suited our needs for the weekend.
Barbara H. from Delta, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2009 We were so disappointed, with the condition of the mattress on the hideabed. My children had to take it off and put it on the floor, as it caved in and did not have any support. The pillows were about 1 inch think, and smelled like someone's perfume......If you are going to rent these places you should make sure they are at least a 2 star. Very disappointing, and these comments also go for 211.
Lars J. from Doha, QA recommends this property. Stayed for 11 days in February, 2009 Generally I was very satisfied, good service, very helpfull. however the furniture is a bit old and need to be upgrated. the rooms were clean and location was good for us. I would recommend it to a friend.
Craig R. from Macon, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2009 To explain the ratings, the staff and lobby were excellent. The location was convienent to Blackcomb and an easy walk to Whistler. I was disappointed with condo for the cost. 212 was well used and not cleaned very well for a new visitor. Web site advertises new high speed internet but it actually is $10.95 for 24hrs. I know it is asking alot, but wouldn't that be a nice service to provide or make it clear on the website that there is a extra cost? I check that I would recommend Wildwood but only after checking out all aspects a little better.
Aaron T. from Alexandria, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2009 I enjoyed my stay a lot. The manager there when I arrived was a great help and getting me oriented at Whistler. Overall great place and experience. Biggest complaint - Wifi or lack there of. I do no think it should offered as an amenity if you have to pay and it is not explicit. I would rather have free wifi than the free cable. The only complaint was the couch/pull out was not very comfortable.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Since the guest's stay, ALL of the Wildwood Lodge properties now offer FREE INTERNET access. Unit 212 has received extensive updates over the summer including a NEW high quality sofabed. Thanks for your feedback. That is the way that we make improvements to our properties.
Mark S. from , ON recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2008 Wildwood is a great place to stay. The facility was very clean and the staff were freindly and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend it. It is close to everything you would want or need when staying in Whistler.
Tricia S. from St. Cloud, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2008 We completely enjoyed the area and accommodations. It was quite hot while we were there and the only thing that could have made this better was a fan and maybe screens on windows, sliding doors.
