A kingsize bedroom with shower and ensuite bathroom, two twin bedrooms which share a shower bathroom, a queen bedroom with a half bath (this bedroom is within easy reach of the last bathroom for use of the shower), and a single bedroom with a baby bed that adjoins the queen bedroom. These two bedrooms share the previously mentioned bathroom. There is also a half bathroom on the ground floor.Living space comprises a large formal entry hall, a large kitchen with fireplace for cooking, a small table for six people, a huge living room and an equally large dining room with a working fireplace. Household amenities comprise a dishwasher, a six-burner stove, deep marble double sink, telephone, washing machine, pool table, piano, stereo, TV (no satellite) and central heating. Villa delle Colline lies 35km west of Florence, in Limite sul Arno, Tuscany. This substantial holiday villa sleeps 11 with five bathrooms and six bedrooms. A grand old ochre-coloured villa with a lovely garden brimming with charm. There are generous sitting, dining and relaxing areas, a consecrated chapel, a pool, tennis court and beautiful verdant views. Please be advised there is s small group of not-so-lovely modern buildings in one small corner of the landscape, which in no way should leave a lasting impression but we do want to mention them. Outside features include a private chapel, a lovely outside dining area, older-type tennis court with Astroturf, 26 x 5ft pool, a lovely cypress-ringed outdoor room and a brick terrace just outside the living room.
The train service from Montelupo and Empoli stop nearby. The villa lies 3km from Sovigliana (with a supermarket), 7km from Vinci (birthplace of Leonardo), 4km from Empoli (various shops, railway station for Florence or Pisa or Siena direction), 50km from Pisa , 80km from Siena, and within an hour's drive of the Tyrrhenian coast.
