Vacation Home Rental Description:
This nice, comfortable and beautifully furnished home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and is a perfect mountain retreat for a relaxing family vacation. There is private access to Chamberland's beach, pool, and tennis courts. The kitchen has new appliances and plenty of space to prepare a family meal together. In the winter, the beautiful stone fireplace in the living room provides the perfect place to curl up and watch a movie or read a book, while keeping toasty warm. This house has great Tahoe decor and plenty of room for family and friends. There is even a small peek of the lake! The garage is not part of the rental.

Chamberlands is one of the most premier subdivisions at Lake Tahoe. It offers a private beach staffed by the Chambers Lifeguard Team. Transportation is made easy by catching a ride on the blue Chambers bus which picks up all residents outside their cabins for a ride to and from the beach every 1/2 hour. The beach also has a historic bar and pier, lake view restaurant and a casual grill.

Good and Bad Experience A guest from Alameda, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 Always rent this cabin Sunday to Sunday. Did not realize it was changed to Saturday. Wish we had been called about it. Arrived a day late. All 9 people in cabin got flu and diahrea. Was the bug in cabin before we got there and it was not sanitized? Half of our week was spent being sick. Hope it got cleaned before next group arrived. |

Would love to rent it again next summer. Nice that certain cabinets/closets were locked, taking away any confusion of what was usable by us and/or kept aside for the owners. Found fresh sheets on beds and towels in bathrooms. Very convenient for renters. Beautifully maintained home by owners. Cleaning service arrived about 15 - 20 minutes before our checkout time, causing a bit of a 'rushed' feeling by renters. We were out of the house before our given 10am, so all was well, but just a bit uncomfortable feeling like we were in their way. |

Stayed for 7 days in July, 2008 We've been staying at this property since they began renting it. We were the first renters. It's a lovely house, spacious and open, in a great location. Only complaint (if you could call it that) is a large stain on the carpet in the upstairs bedroom, which has been there since our first year renting. Other than that, the place was very clean and tidy and we will be back again next year--same time, same place!! |

(We were their first renters) The home is lovely and has great furnishings. The only drawbacks are: Kitchen could use more dishes, glasses, pots and pans. I would bring some from home as I knew it was lacking. The decks are too small for the size of the home and not very useful. |
