This large, five bedroom, family home has Chamberland beach, pool and tennis privledges. The open floor plan is great for entertaining and the deck overlooks a beautiful forest setting.
This large five bedroom family home has Chamberland beach, pool and tennis privileges. The open floor plan is great for entertaining or to cozy up to the unique Swedish fireplace. The many windows allow natural light to steam into the main upstairs living area. The deck overlooks a forest setting and is great for summer barbeques. There is a big screen TV & DVD player in living room. The dining room has seating for six with an additional four bar stools overlooking the kitchen area. In the summer, the shuttle runs to the beach and pool throughout the day. In the winter, Homewood Ski Resort is only minutes away and Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts are a short drive.
Please note the fifth bedroom is accessed by walking through another bedroom. This large bedroom also doubles as a second living/play area.

398 Ellis A guest from San Francisco, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2009 There was an ant or termite infestation in the house while we were there. You couldn't sit on the couch without ants falling in your hair and on your body. This limited the use of that room completely as it was disgusting. That is the only room with a TV, so TV viewing was out even on the rainy days. This is the second year in a row that we have had problems at this house. For the price I paid I don't expect these types of inconvenieces. These problems should be elimated before guest are expected. Because it rained a few days while we were up there, we spent more time inside than in previous years and the infestation was a terrible inconvenience. I got no real rest while on this vacation because I felt like bugs were crawling on me while I was trying to sleep. Our stay was for two weeks, but the propane provided barely lasted a week. We ran out of propane for the barbeque and had to cook in the electric oven which was very dissappointing and the food that I brought was not designed to be cooked in an electric oven. |
