**Troyan monastery complex - the largest monastery in the Balkans, surrounded by forests and the Cherni Osam rivier.
**Dryanovo monastery complex & the Bacho Kiro caves - an ancient monastery next to a deep cave system with safe, well-lit paths and incredible stalagmites.
**Arbanassi monastery

**Gabrovo - a vibrant city with shops and bars, known for its leatherwork & textiles. Festival of Humour May 2nd.
**Lovech - lovely colourful town with its famous covered bridge
