There are 2 full baths plus a separate shower and sink in each of the two terrace bedrooms.Located on beautiful Langosta Beach, the Bahia Langosta Beachfront Condominiums are the perfect spot for a perfect vacation. The complex consists of 23 condominiums situated just steps from the beach. The lush tropical gardens and sparkling swimming pool invites you to step out and enjoy the sunshine.Each unit at Bahia Langosta is fully appointed and equipped. The central air conditioning keeps your condo cool and comfortable. The condos include all amenities ? including well-appointed kitchens, cable TV, and local telephone service.Our one, two, three, and four-bedroom units can accommodate your friends and family comfortably and in style. The one-bedroom condos, located on both the upper and lower levels, can sleep 2-4 people comfortably. Our two-bedroom/two bath unit with a sofa sleeper in the living area can sleep up to six persons. Water Problems Larry P. from London, ON does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2011 Everything about the place was amazing. When we first walked in we were very impressed as it exceeded expectations with regards to space and quality.The only issues we had were two nights without water after a water main breakage. This would not have been an issue at all except that one of the nights was New Years Eve and none of us had had a chance to get ready for the evening. We ended up having to use the washroom in the hotel down the street and bathing with bottled water.That wasn't even really an issue for me but we had a couple of girls on the trip and you can imagine how that went. I understand it was New Years Eve but when I called the RPM office to ask about the situation, I was told to call back in 10 minutes if it wasn't fixed and when I called back 10 minutes later the office was closed. No explanations, No suggestions for alternatives.Other than that though, we had I lovely time. Thank you very much for everything but that will be the last time we use the place or RPM's services. |

Stayed for 31 days in March, 2011 Bahia Langosta ( Room 9/12) was a perfect condo for my family, friends and I as we were traveling to The Tamarindo/Langosta area for a month. It is situated about 3/4 of a mile south down a dirt road from Tamarindo, in a quiet area that represents the complete opposite of the noisy tourist town. The unit itself is on the top floor with a great view of the ocean, but you have to walk up 4 sets of stairs to get up there. At first we would break a considerable sweat marching up the stairs, especially with groceries, big bottles of water, surfboards etc. But after a couple weeks, my legs actually felt a lot stronger and i moved up and down the stairs very quickly. That aside, the condo is very spacious, has 4 bedrooms, 4 showers, laundry room, 2 1/2 baths. The beds in the 4 bedrooms are actually somewhat comfortable. The living room furniture needs replacement. If you are looking for luxury this place probably isnt what you are looking for, but for my group of surfers it was an awesome spot. Some negative points would be the bugs, more specifically ants. Simply cannot leave any food or trash around for too long. Also, the furniture was a little dirty. Yet entirely functional. The management was helpful. The security personel were very polite. The fellow residents were very welcoming and sociable. Parking is tight but great in that its gated, always felt safe. The beach is your backyard, the walk is short and scenic. Being that this condo was away from Tamarindo gave us the ability to be in a place that was quiet and peaceful, yet we can shoot into town for lunch, dinner, and nightlife. I would recommend this condo for younger to middle aged adults. Children too young or elderly adults would have trouble with the stairs. I would head there again in a heartbeat. FOR SURFERS: The break right near the condo is called Langosta Rivermouth. It holds solid swell and is often bigger than Tamarindo. Great times in Tamarindo A guest from East Winthrop, Maine recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2009 The rental unit was clean, spacious and actually had four showers and sinks. The entire town did lose power for a few hours our second day, and apparently this is not an unusual event. The only other complaint would be that the Hotel next door was not accomodating relative to the use of any of its facilities, despite the marketing material syaing that the hotel facilities would be available to us. Despite these two items, we would go back to the same unit or the complex. It is close to the beach and staff was very accomodating once any problems were brought to their attention. |

I was very pleased with the overall experience. However, there are 3 aspects I'd like to touch base1. The place was not clean when we checked in. The maid told us that there was a late check-out (she claimed she did her best) which made her rush as fast as she could in order to get the place set, however, some details were missed and we all noticed it.2. The "customer service orientation" mas a big miss. It may be due to a cultural difference in between argentina and costa rica, but the 3 of us who called found the argentina sytle a bit unwelcoming. Tara was great though. Very nice, easy to talk to and polite. I wanted to thank her personally.3. We were at a 3rd floor. We had 1 kid and 3 senior citizens. The external light was off and we asked if somebody could change it but RPM told us that it was the Barcelo responsibility to do so, and the truth is I don't care if there's a mess in between Barcelo and RPM. I payed to RPM so I expect RPM to solve any problem like that. I don't want to go to any 3rd party. It was a concern for us every night.Other than that, we all had a great time. I'd go back. Thanks |

Stayed for 7 days in January, 2008 I stayed before in other properties that you recommend and I prefer Villa Langosta and others apartments in Bahia Langosta because the quality of the furniture, space, and the condition of the house was a lot lot better. The location great and the staff too, but the general condition of these particular apartment was not that goog like in past stays. |
