we were on an auto tour for twentyone days in Utah, Nevada, and (mostly) California. This was our second night in CA, and it was a welcome relief from the motel life (6 prior nights). Having a house, and all its amenities, really gave us a nice refreshing break. And by the time we got home some 2+weeks later, the security deposit check was waiting !!We have all agreed that the stop, tho more costly, was a highlight and a smart move.

Well, Cell phones didn't work, place didnt have internet even though there was a wireless router, All the knives in the house were blunt, a wooden cutting board was missing, there was no blender, And in the craigslist ad, cabin was displayed as right next to water but this place was about 2.5 miles away.

Will look for a location closer to Yosemite Park in the future, but was adequate for what we needed this time and loved looking at the fawns and deer on the property wandering around.

We loved this house! It was very spacious. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the nice deck in the back which had a beautiful view of the woods. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed in the return of the deposit. Took several calls and many days before we received it. Very unacceptable.

Half Dome!

There were 5 of us that stayed at this home and would have no trouble renting this house again!!! The house was more like a home and very comfortable. I would ask that the cleaning crew/staff do a better job at cleaning the kitchen floor - it was filthy. The kitchen is one place I really appreciate cleanliness!

I go to PML every august before labor day it is the one vacation that gets me through the year or at least until new years. The house was in wonderful condition as they always are. But the staff was horrible. I had 6 guests going 2 of which were under the age of 25. I had such a big headache getting the key to the house that the first day was a big waste. It took 4 hours with all the guests waiting outside the gates. I think that is upserd and rude. Especially because i sent all my papers in advanced and called several times to make sure there was nothing else that needed to be dealt with. They said the keys are ready and waiting for me. 4 hours before the arival they call me to tell me they need me to fax my ID with some other reservation information. And i am soposed to do this while driving on the freeway from SF. I will give REMAX one more chance on a vacation rental. I went there to relax not deal with their stupidity. There were no issues after we got the keys and i got my deposit back, although it took 4 weeks. Hopefully next time REMAX will habdle their stuff ahaed of time, and let people enjoy their 4 days of sun.

Pine Mountain Lake is a private gated community. Pine Mountain Lake requires that each guest and each car be issued entry passes. Unfortunately it is the "Guests" responsibility to distribute these passes to their "Guests". Our apologies for any confusion, but we have to abide by the rules of the community. Security Deposits are returned 10-21 days after departure. We make every effort to process them as quickly as possible. The check in question was processed 10 days after your departure or August 29, not 4 weeks. For further clarification of our Policies please refer to the Guest Policy tab.
