Les Rouges-Gorges is a newly completed barn conversion that offers all the comfort of home - combined with all the character you've come to expect from a French gîte.
Forming part of an old farm complex, this gem of a gîte is located in a peaceful hamlet, just a ten minute walk from its neighbouring village.
The accomodation comprises:-
2 Bedrooms (1 with King size bed & 1 Twin Bedded)
Well apointed Shower Room
Open plan fully equipped kitchen
Living room with log burning stove
Dining Area
Patio
Our guests are welcome to use the gardens.
The accomodation is arranged with the bedrooms and shower room on the ground floor ~ while all the living accomodation is upstairs, taking advantage of the larger windows, full roof height and stone & colombage walls.
The property is located within a quiet, agricultural area - its major feature being the beautiful rolling countryside, abundance of trees and lakes and acres of vineyards!
Within a ten minute drive you will find three lakes (1 suitable for swimming) and the beautiful river L'Adour for fishing.
An hours drive will get you to the pyrénées mountains - where you can enjoy all types of winter sports - as well as hiking in the summer months.
The village offers basic shopping facilities, but supermarkets are located within a 7km drive. The beautiful cities of Pau (budget flights from Stansted with Ryanair) and Tarbes are both within a 45 minute drive.
And on a final note, those wishing to take a pilgrimage to Lourdes, can do so easily within the hour!

Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday
Deposit is 50% of total booking cost
Balance is due not later than 8 weeks before arrival (These payments are non refundable - please make sure you have made adequate insurance arrangements)
A deposit of €150 will be required on arrival, to cover against damages. However, this amount will be fully refunded upon departure (subject to no damage being caused).
Please be advised that the English owners, who live on site, have a pet dog (very gentle and stupid I can assure you!)
