The villa is a 2 story house, completely independent, with a stunning view of both the beach at guincho as well as the Sintra Mountains. We can usually hear the ocean, and it is only a ten minute walk across the dunes to the magnificent beach. Guincho is splendidly located for visits to Cascais - 10 minutes - Sintra - 20 minutes- Lisbon - 30 minutes. For those who enjoy walking, there are villages 15 minutes away with restaurants, cafes, and small groceries. My wife and I are happy to recommend things to see and do in the immediate area as well as day excursions to places like Evora and Obidos. I am available to help with your holiday plans by phone.

Clara and Jack live on the property. There is ample space between the villa, cottage and the owner's villa, including ample parking space. The villa has its own private patio where meals can be taken. We are on the property almost all the time, and we are delighted to advise on all activities. Jack is an American concert violinist,Clara is Portuguese-great cook, gardener and lover of Portugal.
