La Maltese Estate is located high above sea level overlooking the Caldera in the traditional village of Imerovigli. It offers spectacular views of the sea, the volcano and the famous sunsets. The neoclassic captain's house mansion is a true sample of luxury and culture. Originally built in the 19th century, the mansion has since been renovated and converted into a magnificent home. One of the best features of the house is the spacious front veranda of 250 sqm being an extremely rare asset in Santorini. Exquisite cream upholstered wooden deck chairs and sofas furnish the terrace whilst large umbrellas give shade. The small pool and side bar set the mood for sipping cocktails and relax overlooking the volcano in complete privacy. The villa is equipped with spa facilities including a spacious indoor heated jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, jet showers and a beauty parlor where guests can request massages and facials. The oversized living room displays an opulent decor giving a rich and "palace like" atmosphere, with velour sofas, a formal dining area and an open-bar for guests use with a white piano a queue. The many tastefully furnished bedrooms are found on the lower level of the villa, all enjoying stunning sea views with private verandas.
