Maison Rose (MRT) is an open, spacious villa built partway up the mountain overlooking Toiny Beach on the south side of St. Barths. Though it is only minutes from the best restaurants and shopping the Caribbean has to offer, guests enjoy complete privacy in this relaxing, West Indies-style villa. A vast terracotta terrace surrounds each of the three cases, or separate houses, which are the two private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and the kitchen and living room. It is spacious enough for a family or two couples to share, yet is a romantic villa for one couple, as well. The terrace tends to be the main living space in this tropical setting, with two separate shaded areas for al fresco dining during the warmer hours of the day, under wood portals dripping with pink bougainvillea, as well as other lounging areas for enjoying the plunge pool, sun and the spectacular view of the sea. Each bright ,white room is decorated with attractive dark wood furniture set off by colorful fabrics and high vaulted ceilings The sun pours daily through the wooden-shuttered windows and the sound of the surf is ever present. Amenities such as air conditioning, DVD player, fully-equipped kitchen, satellite television, books for vacation reading and maid service give guests the opportunity to just relax and be comfortable. Menus from the best local restaurants are also provided for guests to browse while deciding where to dine, and tips on beaches, dining, shopping and general island living are provided to help assimilate to St. Barths as easily as possible (it isn’t hard!). Drinks and hors d’oeuvres await tired travelers upon their arrival for any arrival (coffee, tea, milk, a cheese platter, fruit platter, drinks ( soft and juice ), water, 1 bottle of wine). * Dining Room: Two dining areas: one off the kitchen on the covered terrace with teak table seating 6 people, the second by the pool.
