Castellina is a very large villa situated between Spoleto and Assisi, 3kms from the characteristic town of Trevi. Originally a convent built around the 1600's, the villa is situated on a hilly position from where it dominates the vast plains that reach even Assisi which can be admired in the distance. Castellina consists of a main house, fascinating with its arched balcony, and two guest houses, one of them separated by steps leading to a lovely garden and to the courtyard with antique terracotta stones enriched by various flowers, from where there is also access to the main villa. Antique walls close the back part of the villa making this property unique in its structure. Large well maintained lawns, completely fenced in surround the house with its year's old olive groves and fruit trees. Inside the villa there is a large living area with glass doors that look out onto the garden. The furnishings are a combination of antiques in the main house with a more simple style in the bedrooms of the guest annexes, all of them with an independent entrance. The spacious kitchen has a warm country style and it is very well equipped. The asphalt road that arrives to the gate of Castellina is in excellent condition and there is easy access to all major roads going towards Spoleto-Rome or Assisi Perugia-Gubbio. Please note there is a friendly dog and a cat that live on the property; small pets are allowed. A telephone, extra maid service, a cook and heat for villa are often available for an additional charge, however we can not GUARANTEE maids and cooks as they are employed by the property owner. These extra services are paid locally in Euros. Although this villa is a 7 bedroom, it only sleeps 12 people. The Security Deposit is €1,500.00.
