Some good and some bad Jim C. from Bandon, OR does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in September, 2011 Plumbing problems that never did get fixed. The sheets that were on the bed when we arrived were so old and ruff that my wife couldn't sleep on them. We were glad there was better sheets in the closet to use instead. The barbecue grill was so dirty from the last people that we didn't use it. |

Quick Vacation Get Away Marc B. from Chico, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2011 Over all we had a great time! The kitchen was smaller than expected. The shower head was too low for anyone over 5'3". Appliances were out dated and the coffee pot was too small. But for the time we spent in the Condo it was worth it! Wish the hot tub and pool time closings were extended. We would love to stay again. |

Unadvertised "historic" accomodations Harold S. C. from Green Valley, AZ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2011 This was out first time to visit Lake Tahoe. The location of the condo was good: quiet and walking distance to the lake. The area is rustic and the pool was the one bright spot. We were dismayed to find the condo was of 1970s/80s vintage, hence the "historic" designation. The stove was similar to one we had 30 years ago; we were afraid to stay in the kitchen while using the microwave; the furniture had to have come from the owner's home or a thrift shop; the tv in the bedroom was missing and the one in the lroom had 12 channels; the area rug and throw rugs were heavily stained (we put them in a corner so as not to step on them. I could go on and on...but won'tAll in all, we won't stay again in this ancient site!!! |

My complaints would be that the appliances are extremely old! (fridge, oven, microwave) They don't cost much to replace. Also, the shower was made for short people. My husband is approx 6 ft and I am 5'8. We had to squat in the shower to get down low enough to wash our hair! Good note: comfy bed, liked the peacefulness of the woods, balcony was great for relaxing! |

Stayed for 2 days in August, 2010 upside: the place was well located and the clubhouse well appointed with nice hottubs. The manager was kind & helpful. downside: the condo had a giant unrepaired hole in the downstairs bathroom that leaked, and the place was a little stuffy/moldy and hadn't been updated at all since it was built. Fan uncovered. Linoleum and carpet floors are very dated. Unit 28 needs some repair and updating and should not be rented in its current state. New flooring will be installed and the bathroom fan will be replaced immediately. |

I would not recommend unit 28, atleast till they fix major issues. David B. from San Ramon, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2008 The issues that I have are with Unit 28, NOT First Accommodations. The unit is in dire need of repair, for example there is a light in the closet that is missing and the wires are exposed with no caps on them, very dangerous; the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom is falling down, the upstairs bathroom needs repair also. When you go to sleep the house creaks and pops all night long, so if you are a light sleeper you will be kept awake. The last issue that I had which is no big deal is that nothing in the kitchen matched, the silverware was a mix of at least 5 sets, the plates look to be whatever they could find. In conclusion, if you are looking for a bargain this is the place but just remember you are definitely getting what you pay for in the of case this unit. |

Our previous experience was in south lake area. I think our main "less than positive" comment was the fact that the unit we stayed in seemed to be a lot "older" in side, than our previous experience. Other then that our experience met expectations. I would probably recommend to a freind to try a different location so we could exchange notes and get a better idea of what we our expectations should be. |
