Tahoe Trip Hamid B. from Los Gatos, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in February, 2016 It was a great experience staying there for a while. The property condition was good and the same as described. The location was very beautiful. The house was too spacious and cozy for three families to spend a memorable weekend together.
Family Vacation from Modesto Barbara B. from Modesto, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in August, 2015 We have been coming to Carnelian Woods with our children for over 30 years. It still serves our needs as adults as well as the children & now our grandchildren.
Great experience A guest from Mountain View, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in December, 2014 The property was very comfortable and clean. My family and I had a great time spending time together. I would recommend this to anyone!
Nice , clean, amenities average A guest from Sacramento, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 Overall nice place. The "gourmet kitchen" claim..not so much. Many places keep staple basics like oil, salt , pepper and spices in them. Not here. Also surround sound speakers to tv didn't work. Tvs are old box ones amd we got the very minimum channels. A few light bulbs in the kitchen were burnt out and the master bed matress needs to be replaced. All in all a good value for the money. Like most places..get what you pay for. Trent was very helpful and very detail oriented though in our rental process
very nice and clean A guest from castro valley, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in November, 2011 The propery was very nice and clean. My two boys specially liked having their own space on the 3rd floor loft. The management was professional and responded prompty to our concern.
Carnelian Woods Condo- A guest from Napa, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 There was only one pool/tennis court key-inconvenient when you have three families (other places we stayed have had additional keys). There were no dish towels(we had to purchase some so we could do the dishes). Light bulbs should be checked on a regular basis by the cleaning crew- light over stove was out. We were only allowed two parking spaces in our condo lot- even though the condo is large enough for three families-we received notices to park on street- we were the only three cars in the entire parking lot,
Kimberly Y. from Cloverdale, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in March, 2011 The furnace was pretty loud, but besides that we enjoyed our stay. We weren't able to find anyone to get parking passes, but there weren't many people there, so parking was not a problem. Checkin/Checkout and reservation process was very nice and easy! Thank you!!
Nikki C. from Palo Alto, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in February, 2011 The draft in the 1st bedroom on the 1st floor was unbearable. The room was extremely cold even if the heater was turned up high; then the other rooms were too hot. The bathtub in the 2nd floor bathroom did not drain well. I've rented many vacation homes before, and none just gave one toilet paper roll per bathroom.
Very Nice. We really enjoyed our stay and the unit was very comfortable. It was well equipped. Barbara B. from Modesto, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 9 days in August, 2010 Only one minor negative. The gas BBQ ran out of propane during cooking on our first night. No biggee.
Very clean, plenty of room, great location Sally M. from Milpitas, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in July, 2010 Found everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. The pool was great to use after a day at the lake, and the hot tubs were very clean. The bed in the master bedroom was a little too soft, but bearable for a 4-night stay. The kitchen was nicely remodeled and well stocked with dishes and pots. The tvs in every room made all of the teenagers happy, and the dining room table was large enough for board games. We had a wonderful time!
Great location for a group! A guest from Menlo Park, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in February, 2010 We've stayed here for two years for our office snow trip, and Trent has been very helpful with our group bookings. Trent's timely email responses and flexiblity in accommodating our group needs have been incredible. When we needed to find a group meeting space for our dinner, he went out of his way to contact local meeting areas to see if we could use their spaces. I'll definitely keep them in mind for future group trips and for personal trips as well. The properties are very nice, well-maintained, and well-stocked with kitchen supplies, TVs, games, etc.
DVD and toilet paper Peter L. from Sacramento, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in January, 2010 The house had two rolls of toilet paper: with 6 adults and 4 children, we ran out that night and I had to run to a market to pickup some more. Additionally the dvd wasn't connected to the tv. Other than that, it was nice.
Property Manager Response: Response from First Accommodations Per the instructions during confirmation, we provide a starter kit of TP and other complimentary items when you arrive. WEEK B4 XMAS philip m. from Austin, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in December, 2009 The home was great! We had everything we needed and Trent was responsive and always ready to provide us information or answer any questions!
Some items need attention Jim U. from Fremont, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in September, 2009 Everything great, except: the TV and dvd players remotes did not work, even after we replaced the batteries; bar-b-que never got hot enough on which to cook meat, we had to use stove broiler; one dining room chair was terrible wobbly--we set it aside so as not to sit on it; one of the stove burners did not work; one of the dining room overhead lights was out; both lamps in the loft did not work; could really use instructions on proper use of tv's, dvd and all remotes!
Property Manager Response:
We tested all items written in the review and found no issues.
Bunkbeds A guest from Morgan Hill, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in July, 2009 Gransons didn't like closeness of the beds- top to bottom. Otherwise it is a very nice condo and the kitchen is picture perfect.
Summer Vacation Patricia V. from Pacifica, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in July, 2009 The place we stayed at was very nice. Lots of room for everyone. The location was perfect because it was so close to the pool. The only "minor" complaint we had was that we could not figure out how to turn off the gas fireplace. (In hindsight, we should have called maintenance.) Also for the money we paid it was little much to ask us to pull the sheets off the bed and place the towels next to washing machine.
Extended family reunion A guest from Mt. Hermon, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in July, 2009 My sister and her family stayed in this unit. They were very happy with the accomodations, and loved the whole facility, using the pool, hot tub and community room every day. Thank you!
I had a few concers...the guest bathroom on the 2nd floor; the drain was semi clogged in the shower, water took about an hour to Ruth J. from Hayward, CA recommends this property.

Stayed for 7 days in August, 2008 The key box was not working correctly to open for key but that was resolved very quickly by property manager. I would recommend this property for a wonderful vacation.
4 Bedroom Unit - Carnelian Bay Craig S. from San Jose, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in March, 2008 The unit was actually nicer than the group expected - especially considering the cost was fairly inexpensive. Nice kitchen and appliances, relaxing living room area, comfortable bedrooms, clean bathrooms.
The only issue we ran into was the DVD player / TV set up. We could hear the DVD but not see it. If we switched the video cable then the DVD player worked fine, but when we switched back to the TV we couldn't hear any sound. Not a huge deal, but someone might want to look into that.
Nice clean home, slightly dated A guest from Santa Clara, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in February, 2008 Nice property overall, very clean. Kitchen and bathrooms were nice and up to date. Some of the furniture a bit older or out of style. Some issues with the entertainment center (couldn't get an ipod video out working with the TV). Could use some more outdoors light when we arrived at night (be sure to take a flashlight, we did). The property had hot tubs which we didn't use as they were occupied by other people at the time. But overall satisfied as we didn't have any issues during our weekend stay.
Cody W. from Sacramento, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in December, 2007 Great unit...I only had 2 suggestions...1. a place for boots coats etc when you come in the door...wet and messy....2. Since the heater was on and the air was soooo dry, it would be a great comfort feature to have humidifiers in the bedrooms for at night...I will definetly bring them next time! Always love Carnelian Bay Rentals!
Nothing Lasts A guest from Santa Cruz, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in July, 2007 Over the last 4 years, Queen mattress in rear bedroom is worn out, sloping downhill to center, forcing two in bed to roll to the middle from each side, or to resist forces of gravity each night. I didn't sleep well during expensive week's vacation this year.
