Top floor end unit, nice big hot tub in lodge, free parking/internet
2 bedroom + loft, 2 bathroom condo with full kitchen, living and dining area and patio close to the base of Blackcomb. 400 metre walk to Blackcomb Lifts, or take the free Village Shuttle that stops outside your door. Beds are queen, queen and 2 twins.
Harry K. from Greenwich, CT recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2016 Perfect location for ski on/ski off and close enough to town for restaurants and nightlife. We had a great stay!
Close to the Village but far enough to experience serenity
A guest from Surrey, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2015 The place was close enough to ammenities but far enough from the craziness of the village. The 5 minute bus ride was very convenoent for guest to be able to enjoy the Village but they can come back to the lodge and have a nice peaceful evening.
Sylvie M. from Montreal, QC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2015 Altough a bit dated and not as clean as we would have liked, we were satisfied with this property. Since there was no snow, we had to take the bus shuttle to and from the mountain but the service is very good and convenient. For the same price, we get a lot more in other resort. Whistler is much more expensive, but worth it!Thank you to Sonia for her very warmth and efficient welcoming.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. All properties are individually owned and upgraded at different times. This owner is planning significant upgrades in the near future.
Andrew W. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2015 Great stay, location was decent, a little off the beaten path but just a short stroll to the village. free chuttle was handy as well. free parking a plus. was advertised with updated kitchen etc. when we arrived we were surprised to find the kitchen was still the original from 30 years ago. I guess you cant complain at the price point mind you. overall good experience. would stay again. but would preffer to be closer to the village.
A guest from Vaughn, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2015 Rented two - 3bdrm suites this year again for my work team during a conference. One suite was upgraded (similar to ones we had stayed in years past) and the other was still closer to original décor. Everything worked well and accommodations were very comfortable overall. Would recommend this location for anyone wanting to relax and be away from the crowd.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. We are always working with owners to upgrade their properties and this one is due for some TLC. There will be improvements made this year. Thanks for your feedback.
Simon S. from Devonport, TA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in January, 2015 our say was really good, location was perfect for skiing and a short walk to the village, at a really good price :)
Geunsam P. from Seoul, Seoul does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2015 TV does not working and sometimes no hot water.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. this is a review from another guest using the same property: "Rented two - 3bdrm suites this year again for my work team during a conference. One suite was upgraded (similar to ones we had stayed in years past) and the other was still closer to original décor. Everything worked well and accommodations were very comfortable overall. Would recommend this location for anyone wanting to relax and be away from the crowd." How can they be so different? For one thing, they did not report the TV and it does work. 2nd, they all take a shower at the same time of day and expect the hot water to last for everyone.. "uncomfortable", who knows what that means as they never told our staff of their discomforts.
A guest from Abbotsford, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 What a great place to stay. Large clean suites. 5 min. walk to the village. Great bang for your buck. I would stay here again.
Thomas M. from Tenino, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 We rented a 2 bed with loft and found it okay in size. But, the cleaning person missed loads of dirt behind doors & in corners as well as hairs all over the floor and sticking to the bathroom walls. There was a large amount of dirt in the corners of each stair going to the loft and layers of dust along the walls. Then they have the nerve to charge 140.00 for cleaning? Are you kidding me?
Marda R. from Snohomish, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2013 Easy access to village and shuttle. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room could have been a bit cleaner. All and all we would stay again.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Housekeeping is one of the biggest issues facing hotels and vacation rental properties. We are always working to improve in that department. Thanks, Manager
Ciara H. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 A short walk to the upper village and a quieter part of Whistler was exactly what we were looking for and exactly what this apartment provided. Very helpful and knowledgeable front desk, spacious apartment and nice size pool and hot tub for a reasonable price, will definitely return!
A guest from Maple Ridge, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2012 The units were not stocked with enough supplies (they knew were a large group in two units), even combining kitchen supplies and linens we found it difficult.Would not stay there again.
Raymond C. from Richmond Hill, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2012 It's not advertised, but this is almost a ski-in/out location. A small 'flat' trail leads from the across the street from the front entrance to the Backcomb base (Wizard express lift). On the way base, there is a small trail that from the the slopside Woodrun lodge to Spearhead (the street where Wildwood is on) 150-200m away from Wildwood. You can then choose to walk the 150m-200m down the street or walk 20m across the street to beside the bus-top, and enter another narrow trail (spearhead trail) on which you can ski back to the Wildwood front entrance - however, don't do this trial if you're a green skiier; it's a very narrow trail....The other good thing is that there's shuttle bus stop (#5) right in front of the lodge's entrance, if you don't want to walk the 10mins to the Whistler village.
A guest from London, Ontario recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2012 This condo unit was well equiped and comfortable. I appreciated the free wifi and parking. I thought it was a very good value.
A guest from Kanata, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2012 Comfortable stay. If there was more snow, the ski out would make it easy access to the lift. The bus was unreliable as it does not arrive at equal intervals. In some cases, you may have to wait 20 minutes to a half hour.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Thanks for the comments. The ski trail to the lifts is rarely not skiable in Jan, Feb and March. The comments about the bus service will be passed on to the transit system. Manager.
A guest from Monroe, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2011 The DW was broken, so had to do dishes by hand. Hair on floor, ie not clean. Loved the location. Would recommend updating paint. The colors age the place. Stayed 5 days, would have loved fresh towels on day 3 but told we had to stay 6 days.
A guest from Sidney, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2011 The location was wonderful but the unit could have been a lot cleaner. The bathrooms and the living area were not very clean at all. The pool was nice and the bathrooms off of the pool area were very clean. We were tempted to shower there instead of in our unit. Beware, the neighbors smoke a lot of pot and it makes the whole unit smell of it.
We had the most amazing view of the mountains. I was right ousite the busstop
Claus J. from Kirkland, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in December, 2010 I don't like that i have to clean the glasses and the rest off the service before i can use it, it was dirty. The knifes could not cut anything and there was no electric handmixer no pans for the oven, nothing to put hot things on. There is barely room for 6 people diffcult to get around. One off the beds upstaires was missing 2 wheels so we could not use one off them. The sliding doors could not close. Ask to get it fixed 3 times nothing happend.
A Summer Stay in Whistler for a family of 4 - boys of 9 and 11 years
Emma C. from Chipperfield, Hertfordshire recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2010 We had a fantastic time in Whistler. The accommodation was well situated, just behind the Four Seasons, however, a car was useful for picking up groceries etc. We loved Whistler in the Summer - kayaking the River of Golden Dreams, a drive/walk to Nairn Falls, Zip-lining and the white water rafting made it a holiday to remember. It was great to relax and use the pool and the hot tub, though not all the jets in the hot tub were functioning. We had a great stay!Emma
We were walking distance to everything such as spas, mountain access for skiing and running/walking/biking trails a plenty. We
Curtis S. from Vancouver, b.c recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2010
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Thanks for taking the time to give those nice comments. You can have our special discount any time you are back. Cheers, Barry Maskell (owner/manager)
Nevet B. from Medina, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2009 Many thanks to Roger for his responsiveness on technical issues, and to the front desk staff for the late checkout. Housekeeping showed up one day late, and we had a few minor problems in the unit: broken hooks on the coat racks, a rickety nightstand lamp in master bedroom, underprovisioning of toiletries (housekeeping wasn't aware of the number of people in the unit), no salt & pepper in the kitchen, limited dishes for a party of 6 (when the unit is marketed as being suitable for up to 8 people), etc.
A guest from Staines, Middlesex recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2009 We had a good time. The property was as we expected. It was also quiet so we were able to get plenty of sleep. Personally I prefer firmer beds. Also, I would have preferred if there had been a vacuum cleaner in the apartment and an iron and ironing board in the apartment or at least available from reception (one of the men in our group wanted to iron his shirts!). All the staff we friendly and super helpful!
A guest from Burrlington, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2008 We had 7 people staying in a 2 bedroom with loft condo. There were 2 bathrooms but one was in the master bedroom so it made it somewhat less accessable than if it was open to everyone. It was 80 to 90 degrees the weekend we stayed and there was no air conditioning at all and just a little bitty ceiling fan way up by the loft that didn't do anything. The location was considerably good though if you don't mind going on a little walk. It's right across from the path that walks into the upper village and then you go to whistler village from there, very convenient! The staff was very helpful and we were able to leave the car parked there for the day even after we checked out.
Jeffrey B. from West Linn, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2008 We have been coming back to Wildwood for 10 years now, this was probably my 5th visit. Great location, ski in & out possible, close to action but not in the middle of the action. Close to the hoity toity resorts but not hoity toity. Great place for regular folks who enjoy skiing a great mountain, sitting in the hot tub with new friends and having fun when they are done.
