Ronald W. from Cape Haze, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2016 The resort was one of the best I stayed at, beach was the cleanest I have been at in quite a while. Staff was extremely friendly and were very knowledgeable and provided a great vacation experience. I will with out a doubt be back and will recommend Palm Island to friends and family.
A guest from Cape Haze, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2016 Beautiful villa right on the beach. Great screened patio. Loved the pool! Everything we needed was provided; clean and comfortable; felt very safe and secure.
A guest from CoCo Beach, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2016 I rented a one bedroom villa on the first (second floor) and was surprised at how updated it was. Looked like it had not been lived in since renovation. Fortunately, I didn't need extra services but when I was checking out the bell boy was at my door in a matter of minutes to take me and load all my baggage, etc, While I was there there was a barbecue with great food and music. All for free. I would recommend staying at Palm Island Resort an time. Gorgeous beach!
A guest from VENICE, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2016 We have been vacationing & taking long weekend trips to Palm Island since 1984. It's our go to place for relaxation, fun, and down time. It's like being on a cruise - you can do as much or as little as you'd like. A perfect couples retreat or a family destination. No matter how booked they are, it always seems to feel like the island experience is all yours & yours alone.
Roseann L. from Spring Hill, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2015 2 Glorious Days, perfect in every way! Great location, great View, great food, great service, couldn't be any better.
Kevin H. from Fort Myers, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2015 Great relaxing weekend on the beach!Enjoyed the food at Rum Bay both nights. Sunsets were beautiful. Only issues were noise from 3rd floor unit above us. Other than that, everything was great and we definitely plan to return.
William M. from Philadelphia, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2014 Everything was really nice. The beach was kind of far from my villa but was a short walk. The map from the website made it look really close. Everyone was nice a kind and willing to do anything for you. The boat captain with the beard is a jerk. Had a comment to say because I had a cigar in my hand. It was not even lit. Not sure why he needed to say out loud as I was driving off the ferry to say "We have an ash try behind the wheel". I guess he has issues.
one of the last cleanest, well maintained, friendliest resorts
Deborah M. from Bradenton, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 We had One of the nicest experiences from your little piece of Paradise, not being to commercial but adequate , the food was awesome, our bartender was awesome, our whole visit was so relaxing, thank you !
ONE OF THE BEST VACTIONS YOU CAN TAKE TO BE RELAXED
Helen G. from TAMPA, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2014 If you want to get away and do nothing or if you want to be active this is the place to go. We loved it because there is NO CARS, NO NOISE, and it is so relaxing just riding the golf cart and going to the pool and bike riding. It was like being on a Tropical Island but yet not far from home. We loved it!
A guest from Ocoee, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2014 Palm Island Resort is a great place to get away for a little while. You take a car ferry to the island and then once at the resort, you either walk or take a golf cart everywhere. There is only one restaurant on the island but the full kitchen in each condo and grills allow you to take it easy and cook at your own pace. The best thing about Palm Island Resort is the beautiful barely populated beaches. You feel like you have your own private beach.
Arminta & Justin G. from Port Charlotte, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2014 We had such a great time spending our weekend at palm island getting married. Everyone of our guests loved their rooms and the island! I kept hearing how beautiful and amazing everything was from all of our guests. I loved our room it was very clean and decorated nicely. The beach is at your door step!!
A guest from Cape Coral, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2013 Wonderful place for a quiet getaway.Beutiful Gulf view from the lanai.Gas grills, pool and hottub nearby.Staff was friendly and helpful.
A guest from Chinle, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 11 days in October, 2013 Heaven on earth as usual! We love Palm Island, the staff, peacefulness and beauty. Had a great trip and can't wait for our next visit!
Martin K. from Summerfield, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 The area aroundhe rsturant on the sides were ccoverd with trash looked disgusting. The golf carts are really a joke. The yare dirty, filthy broken down. Never been washed asdn ther are almsot no plugs under the villa to use.for peopelewith my disabilities it was very hard to walk to the bea c hdn climb the stairs up to our villa. this is not your fault
Rick C. from Leo, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 We recently spent a week at Palm Island Resort ... our fifth visit over a number of years ... and continue to consider PIR to be the perfect getaway for our family. Our idea of a perfect beach vacation includes sparsely populated beaches and great shelling ... both criteria were met and surpassed! We're already planning next year's return and counting down the days ;-)
Douglas S. from Oshwa, Ontario recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in March, 2013 It would be hard to imagine a better place than Palm Island to visit with a family. Access to the island is by ferry, and only those who are residents, guests, or providing services make the crossing. There is also a boat launch for those who wish the Resort for dinner. Once you reach the Resort you park your vehicle, and all traffic in the resort is by bicycle or golf carts (both rented on site). The children enjoyed Captain Red Beard craft sessions and his show, tennis lessons and dolphin cruise. As laidback as you wish, extremely friendly atmosphere, yet you can be as busy as you wish with tennis, swimming, beach activities, walking, or just socializing.
Geraldine K. from Bradenton, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in October, 2012 When booking my reservation I clearly asked fora second floor unit and was disappointed that Ireceived a lst floor, when I mentioned this todesk it was not treated as an issue, just Sorryvery disappointing. I felt we should have beenmoved to a 2nd floor unit. All in all I would come back, Palm Island is wonderful.
Doris Y. from Tampa, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 We had a family gathering at Palm Island and each and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The staff and resort were wonderful!
Alan F. from Leesburg, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2012 Everyone was GREAT. We had one bad experience. We planned to go to Leverocks for our anniversary dinner on Wednesday evening. The water taxi operator was somewhat rude and had planned to close the taxi service early, which meant we wouldn't have had a ride back. We didn't go and that ruined that one experience! I can not compliment Debbie, Dan, CJ and others enough though on their kindness and professionalism. We even ran into Dan at breakfast on our way home. Great guy!!
Janet H. from Cape Coral, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in February, 2012 We really enjoyed our stay - the golf cart was a hoot, and beach was quiet, the shelling was terrific, and the staff could not have been more pleasant. This is an excellent resort!
A guest from Oldsmar, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in December, 2011 My boyfriend and I had a great time and thought it was a very relaxing place that was great for a weekend get-away! The island was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely recommend it and we plan on visiting again sometime in the future!
Kathy C. from HOUSTON, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in November, 2011 Problem list:Greeted with sarcasm by golf cart bell hop.Rental was not cleaned well; sand on floor.Furnishings in condo were uncomfortable.Toilet plugged upon first flushing.Foot rinse on stairs off balcony did not work.Although I Love the Island and the Resort, my overall experience was not as nice as it has been in my past 2 visits. Otherthan the bell hop; the staff are extremely nice, cooperative and should be commended for their customer service.
Andria D. from Miami, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2011 Our trip was fabulous, the staff was friendly and helpful. The villa was outstanding, clean with a beach cottage decor and within walking distant of the beach, pool and restaurant. I would definitely recommend Palm Island to friends and family!!!
Rachel P. from Sarasota, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in September, 2011 Palm Island Resort was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed feeling like I was on a far away remote island, however, the location was only a 2 minute ferry ride from the mainland. The beach was gorgeous and the shells we found were beautiful. Thanks Palm Island Resort for giving us such an enjoyable and tranquil vacation.
A guest from Lithia, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in September, 2011 Our stay was amazing. The island is so private, with a great restaurant and bar.The beach was beautiful, and sunset intimate. The condo had everything we needed along with a breathtaking view.We couldn't wait to tell our friends about it, but not too many. I feel like we stumbled upon a fantastic little secret escape!
Jean E. from Rochester, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2011 We loved Palm Island Resort. Our only problem came on our last day. Our package came with late departure on our last day. Apparently there was a booking problem and we were asked to check out early (12:30). We understand mistakes, but neither the golf cart transportation nor the cleaning people appeared at 12:30. I had to call to ask for transportation. Due to a cloudy AM, time to pack, etc. we lost one day of our stay at Palm Island. That was a real disappointment.
Scott G. from North Port, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in December, 2010 The only thing of concern is I see two holds on my american express. Praying only one goes through. Keep us up dated on specials.. We might come out at a drop of a hat..and do you have small pet rooms?
Marnie L. from St petersburg, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2009 Wasp nests at the entrance to the condo.

DANIEL E. from OTTAWA, ONTAIO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2009 My week at Sanibel island was a great dissapointment....too many people, overpriced, too much traffic etc....Luckily i stopped at Palm Island on the way home...beautiful ocean views and sunsets, deserted beaches and a small quiet resort....I'll be back......
A guest from ORLANDO, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2008 i have been to palm island over 15 times this was by far the worst visit ever the staff was way off base and didnt seem to know what they were doing
A guest from Sarasota, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2008 Beautiful beach, great location. Totally relaxing, but not much to do. Would definitely return again.
Property Manager Response:

JACK S. from BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2008 Palm Island Resort was exactly what we were looking for - a quiet, beautiful place with comfortable, functional accomodations. The beach is perfect for walking and shelling. The resort owns property that provides fine nature walks. The lack of cars is especially pleasant. There are some good bar drinks and excellent shrimp in the restaurant. I look forward to return visits,
