Vacation Condo Rental Description:

1 Bedroom/ 1 Bathroom condo with Queen in master bedroom and Queen sofabed in lving area. Full kitchen, living and dining area with gas fireplace and balcony. Complex has indoor hot-tub and small excercise facility.

This one bedroom condo is located right in the heart of Whistler?s Pedestrian Village overlooking the village stroll. It is comprised of a Queen bed in the Master bedroom, and a Queen sofa bed in the living room. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom, gas fireplace, TV & VCR and balcony. The complex also offers an indoor hot tub. One Underground Parking Stall. Additional parking is $12/day. Rate Base; 2 guests. Maximum occupancy: 4 guests.

Tired Unit #206 needs new Mattress and some TLC

The bedroom mattress was old, had a slope towards the middle and was very uncomfortable. Most sliding doors and drawers including the bathtub glass door came off its track or just fell off. There is no bureau in the bedroom so things would go on hangers if there were enough of those or placed in the tiny drawer unit that fell apart in the closet. This is also more than a 5 minute walk while lugging ski gear to the lifts I would say more like 15 minutes with gear. The location was also overlooking the gazeebo where people liked to hang out all night and across from a nightclub that had loud patrons standing outside until the early hours. When I called and left a note about the bed (which they confused with the pullout couch) - they said they had brought up plywood. There was no laundry detergent provided so luckily I had my own. The trash bags were pathetically small and we ended up using all of them. The mattress needs to be replaced. The towels were fine. The kitchen was adequately equipped. The coffee maker was broken when I arrived but a new one was given to us 3 days into our trip. The rug and furniture are relatively new.

It was great to be located in the village close to restaurants and shops. We didn't use our rental car at all other than to and for the airport. It helped that the weather was great and conditions were good for skiing.

Location couldn't be much better and the value was excellent. Right in the middle of the action and a 5 min walk to the lifts. The apartment was spacious and, although it's tiring a little, it's well looked after and Peak to Green offer a great service. Having washing facilities in the flat was a huge plus.

Having to just arrive and after a 6 hour journey with 2 little ones to inviting and comfortable accommodation is invaluable. The personal service before and during made our stay that much better. With a family we now look for places where we can call home for even a short time - and this provided that perfectly. Just close enough for a great morning walk to the lifts, and further enough away from the nightlife we once (and still jealously) partaken in to get the kids (and now our weary bodies) to sleep. A great christmas, and a place I would not hesitate to return to.

Nice rooms and location but arrived to find the kitchen sink was leaking (although management attempting to fix). Wardrobe door in bedroom was ill-fitting, tap ultimately fell of bathroom sink, though easily put back. Raspberry on floor, mould in shower and dirt in bins. External door code changed whilst there and we were not informed. Only one key for the room which was very inconvenient, esp when the door code changed. Ski locker code was not available for the first 24 hours. Overall we felt that we were paying over the odds for what was provided - the quality of the accommodation did not reflect the amount being asked.

The unit was well equipped and we had plenty of linens and soap. The furniture was comfortable and the AC unit was appreciated; however the location was noisy...loud activity in the plaza until 2 or 3am. We would recommend a unit to friends away from the plaza.Minor maintenance issues:1) Shower glass door is missing a track holder.2) Tub needs a non-slip surface...easy to slip in the shower.3) The kitchen faucet fixture is not secured...wobbles aroung on the sink.4) The mini-blinds are in need of replacement.5) The bed supports have sharp edges at carpet level...easy to cut a toe.

This is not a complaint, in fact, it's more of a reason to stay here. We went down to the hot tub in Eagle Lodge and talked to a couple who said the water temperature was a little cold compared to the day before because they complained it was too hot, so the property manager acted on it immediately, but turned it down a little too much. They didn't go back to him again because they didn't want to bring it up again since he was so nice about it before.

If you want a property that is in bad condition, with many broken or damaged features, and poor management that doesn't deliver on its promises and just doesn't care, then this is the spot for you!

Oh, and look for Peak to Green to charge your credit card for more than the advertised price. After all, they can't keep up this level of disservice without skimming a few extra dollars off the top.

You need proof to put slanderous comments like that in a review. In fact all of this guest's comments are inaccurate. Something else must have touched this guest off. I think he arrived with a chip on his shoulder and took it out on us.
