A unique and beautiful setting for Business and Nature viewing A guest from Anchorage, Alaska recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2013 We came to Port Charlotte for a business meeting and tour of wetland reclamation projects. Our business partner, who is a Palm Beach resident, suggested that we might enjoy staying on the island. It proved to be an excellent suggestion. The location was convenient and the natural setting provided just the experience we wanted for our first stay on the Gulf Coast. We especially enjoyed the birding and beach shelling. The two-bedroom condo accommodation was nicely furnished, comfortable, and a better alternative for our needs than two impersonal hotel rooms. The resort staff was very helpful in helping us meet our various travel connections. We stayed two more days after our business was done and explored the local area. We only wish that the cold windy weather during our stay at Palm Beach Resort had been more characteristic of Florida in March! |

Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 We had a great time and a excellent experience.Our first visit in June was just the two of us and it was great.Peaceful, quiet and romantic. This last trip we brought our 4 grandkids. The experience was different but just as great. I was afraid that they would want a more "theme park" vacation but I was pleasantly surprised that they all had a great time.we have told all our friends about your facility and hope to return soon. |

This time, not so much. Staff did not communicate that they were assigning us a different condo, further away from the office/parking lot and there were no more golf carts for us to use. In addition, the water went out due to a main line break and it was recommended we boil our water for 2 days. Unless we called the office, there was NO communication about this issue and possible danger of drinking the water once it came back on. We had to gather our own information rather than proactively being told of this issue. VERY VERY disappointed. |

The resort is beautiful: it spans many miles, all of which is very well kept. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful, from the bellmen to the office staff, to the staff at Coconuts, and even the residents of Palm Island. Our villa was very well stocked, with everything you can think of for the kitchen and even toys for the kids. The beach view was to die for, and the convenience to the pool, grills, and Coconuts was an extra plus. We had the beach to ourselves, though with perfect water and nice sand, we were unsure why. The fact that this island is not commercialized was one of our favorite parts--it helped everything seem more peaceful, although there is a Publix on the mainland, just a couple minutes away. We can't say enough good things about our stay at Palm Island, and we can't wait to return. |

We had a nice 2 bedroom condo overlooking the clear water of the gulf. The beach was full of collectable shells and the fishing was good. The island has one restaurant and a small store for items you may have forgotten. Bring what you need because once you board the ferry and leave your car at the entrance you are on your own. The bell staff and other service employees are outstanding. We will definitely return! |

TV in bedroom with large bed didn't work right. The TV was about a 15 inch. The other bedroom with two twin beds had the larger TV. I enjoy your property very much but will request the original room that we stayed in instead of gambling with another one. Your staff was great!!!!! Stayed for 6 days in July, 2007 we have vacation at palm island for 19 year off and on we always have a wonderful time when we go the only problem was we were on the higher level and my husband has a heart problem but they didn't have anything else thr kids want to go back this year but do to my husband health i'm not sure if we will. but in the past we've always loved. it!!!!! |
