Poor communication A guest from New Orleans, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2012 We have been staying this condo at least twice a year for many years now. Last year the tubs had rings and grime and the sheets were not clean and I had to clean them myself. Also a maintenance man had a key and tried to let himself in but we had the latch on door so he couldn't get in. We told him to leave. Last week's visit was disappointing in that the tv cable wasn't hooked up in wall and we couldn't use the tv and told Bender about it. We pick this particular condo b/c of the extra tv and we weren't notified that it wasn't working. Mgmet. politely blew me off when I called about it. Otherwise it's a lovely condo. |

Our Stay A guest from Madison, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 We came to Gulf Shores for a wedding. It was a quick trip and I have never been before. I enjoyed my stay our room had a beautiful view. A little out dated looking but it was what I expected for the amount I paid. The only down side was that both of the beds in the condo were like sleeping on a marble slab. The couch was actually more comfortable. We were not able to use the fold out portion of the couch because it had a bad slant once unfolded. We brought a blow up matress so that worked well. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable wish we could have stayed longer! |

Overall, a lovely stay in a great unit Damon N. from Houston, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. However, there were a few positive and negative aspects worth mentioning:The Good:1) The beds were well sized and comfortable (except for the fold-out sofa! The sofa was comfy but the bed inside was horrendous)2) Lots of storage space in the closets and dressers.3) The appliances were in good working order, although the several decade old electric mixer could stand to be upgraded (we made a cake!).4) Then there were the little things, like wine glasses, beach chairs, and ceiling fans, which made the stay super enjoyableThe Bad:1) The lack of wireless internet access in the unit was, for us, extremely inconvenient. When coupled with the generally poor wireless phone reception in the area, it actually created a real problem when we needed connect with people back home.2) The kitchen was well stocked as far as glasses, silverware, casserole dishes, and mixing bowls were concerned. However, the pot selection was lacking. I suggest that the aging non-stick pots/pans be traded in for modest, but good quality, heavy bottomed stainless versions.3) The location of the BBQ grills leaves something to be desired. The corner of the parking lot wedged between a wall and the traffic lane is not exactly the most romantic culinary location.4) The pool seems a bit on the small side for the number of units. On several occasions there were upwards of 15-20 people in the pool.5) The walkway from the pool to the beach is delineated by a pair of falling fences. It's really uncomfortable and quite dangerous. Please fix. |

Stayed for 5 days in June, 2011 This property was very good overall. The condo was clean and the screened in balcony made it possible to enjoy the beach without being on the beach. Downsides were that our upstairs neighbors were incredibly loud at night, making it difficult to sleep and the matresses were very hard. Overall though, very positive. |

This last visit I was very disappointed that the sheets on both beds were dirty and both tubs had dirty rings around them. When I got there I had to wash and dry all the sheets and scrub the tubs. I paid extra for cleaning as the person before me did - and whoever was "supposed" to clean this condo did a horrible job. Also, in the last few years or so a "parking" fee was tagged on to the bill which I feel is taking advantage of the renters who pay plenty enough for the rental. I feel taken advantage of. |

The exterior hallways were very run down and dirty. The check in/out process was annoying for several reasons. We checked in late and the night operator had a hard time finding our reservation, then was unclear on what paperwork I needed to take; we had to return to the office the next morning to check in, again, and then the return the following day to check out. Seems that whole process could be streamlined. Overall had a great time! |

Stayed for 4 days in June, 2008 We especially liked the balcony (lanai), which was equipted with books, games and comfortable patio furniture and table and chairs for dining or playing games. If there would have been a recliner or lounge chair, I probably would have slept out there! It was great and we were lucky enough to have a full moon during our visit. The only drawback to the condo was the outside Bar-B-Q area, which was in the corner of the parking lot in front of the condo. Why couldn't it be incorporated into the pool area, which was very plain? |
